Exactly.Flames will never burn out, they're just not as hot today....
I hope they always stay cool. Makes me feel better about having backwards flames on my boat....
Now that is a novel idea! hahahah.Just drive the boat backwards.
That was a good looking boat.I don't think I would buy a new build with flames, but I still love them if done right. Tribal flames...ugh though.
I still love the gel on one of our old boats.

Nothing cooler than a good set of flames, nothing worse than a shitty set of flames
Honestly I never loved flames, but I wanted a Sabre so bad. The price was right so I got it. I have to say, I like them more and more. The blue outlines that are hard to see in the picture are awsome, and the color fade is done very nice. to each his own, I guess.Well I would be an idiot if I didn't say I like them. LOL View attachment 624325 Since I now own a flame boat!

Thanks! We loved that boat. Not too expensive, would run 60mph all day long with the 6.2mpi, had a big good stereo, lots of room. I regretted getting rid of it when we did.
Im flying out there to look at it next week. Finally worked out a deal with it shipped to havasu. If you are looking at that exact boat, it has been for sale for years out of Georgia.
Help me out here. What is make and model is this boat?Im flying out there to look at it next week. Finally worked out a deal with it shipped to havasu.
When did you get rid of it? I saw it for sale and talked to someone about it before buying my Cobra.
I sold it to a nice couple in Utah about 2006-07. I believe they were still the owners until recently when it sold again. I saw it for sale not too long ago in Utah but all the ads are now gone.

Flames are ok done right. I still like checkers on a boat. If I built new , I would have a small place where checkers were added.
I like flames on hot rods better [emoji202]

I would even go as far as maybe in the bilge area , jus something small , not that big shit down the side [emoji202]My buddy just got the checkers removed from his boat. There is a small area of checkers right in front of the open bow he left as checkers.
R u speaking for boats only ? Or jus in general on anything ? [emoji202]IMO flames were never cool and the same goes for checkered flag patterns. But to each their own, if you like them go for it.
I most likely wouldn't own anything with them but I respect the craftsmanship that goes into a well done flame scheme.R u speaking for boats only ? Or jus in general on anything ? [emoji202]
