One question. What are some good light off road spots near The city? Something a 2wd Tundra can handle and not break apart. I'm hearing about Bison and Plateau areas?? Help me out.

The marina does not offer a season pass. The AZ park pass covers 4 people when launching. It's $2 for each additional person per day. You all have to be in the same vehicle also.

Bison is a good spot and at sunset the view of the city is incredible!

I'm in town suckers!

Bad part is about 15 minutes after rolling down the road my trailer wheel starts smoking. Good thing is I was going slow at the time and was around about twenty boat shops [emoji28]

Here is what I found:
Looks like a seal failed and half the oil on the oil bath hubs is on the ground. Oil and brakes don't mix well.

I tried the shop I was in front of and was turned down. I got it to adrenaline trailers who will have it back to me tomorrow at 1100 am. I'm converting to bearing buddies. This is the second oil bath hub that has failed on me. Adrenaline then reccomends service every other year.

Day is not lost though. I'm gonna explore Bison for sunset tonight with the family. Maybe try Hangar after. I'm just glad I'm in town thanks to Advantage Pools[emoji106]

Well another call from Adrenaline said the rotors and calipers are shot! Dang bad luck to start the season. Me and the wife headed up to the dead if Bison in search of this plateau. Not sure we went far enough but found a good spot with a view. That trail is really rocky. I'd like to find something softer and more high speed. It was a pretty cool view though.

I think most trails in the Havasu area are rocky. I found softer dirt down by Parker, near the Billy Malk Mine RD.

FYI. I just got the annual pass. They don't care how many people are in the truck. All it is is a hanging thing on your rear view mirror. Another card for your wallet in case someone is collect money at places like three dunes. You can put one other persons name on the rear view tag. As I drove through they just waved me by. I doubt they even check IDs or anything.

I got the trailer back at 9 am. I had two solid cracks right through each rotor. I didn't take pics but it was bad.

Is this a new thing this year? Last year I paid.

I was talking to a ranger last week. The daily price increased to 15 weekdays and 20 dollars Friday and weekends, but no limit on people in the vehicle. I know that the weekday yearly pass is still $75.00 but didn't ask specifically if it was unlimited people. I didn't ask about the price of the everyday yearly pass, but I believe it's still $200.00

Yeah the gel is in great shape which sold me on it. The interior is what is bugging me. Stains in a couple places in the carpet, some seams coming loose. I would love to get it re done.

Fished all day and nothing to show for it. Had an awesome view though!

We ended at steamboat



Cleaned everything up and finally tried Hangar on the way out of town. Food was really good!
