Anyone company making them get the Jab? And is anybody standing up against it? Currently I know of one state employee who did not resist at all and got the shot because of the mandate. I do know several teachers law enforcement and people in the medical field who are starting to hear word of the Mandate but no loss of jobs and or a defined date.

My company made everyone get the jab by 11/1.... I folded and ended up getting it against my will.

I saw this on IG the other night and realized this is a guy i went to school with and is local to me.

Sad to see this is what it has come too....Maybe all of the doctors and nurses that are sticking together and not following mandates should come together and open their own practices. I bet they would get a ton of support.

I bet their licenses would start magically start getting revoked if that happened.

My brother was forced or get faxed or get fired by sept 31. Had to give in. Works in healthcare in Oregon. No exemptions.

California company’s of 100 employees or more just waiting the Fed OSHA guidance, then it will be full game on…they have weaponized OSHA

My wife’s company is requiring by Nov 1, or get fired.

Its going to get to a point when you cannot function any longer without the jab.
This government will find a way to make your life financially unfeasible. Hospitals are already denying medical procedures to the unvaxed.
Soon you will not be able to get health insurance, or be subject to a giant unvax surcharge, including spouses and dependents on a policy.
They will find a way to limit your Gov benefits, it will not end.

independant contractor here(me and the mrs)...i guess i could lay her off, but that would have real world consequences beyond income🤷‍♂️, know what i mean.........our 2 company employees are not required
i bet not many boat companies will follow, as the talent pool is pretty shallow these days.......economic suicide

They definitely have you by your coat tails..... I dont agree with any of it but If I was let go for not getting it, I think it would be pretty hard to find work anywhere else. So by default get it or else...

Its not about what company’s want any longer, it’s about what their lawyers, insurance company and their clients want/demand.

Yes, small independent companies that work on/at their own site will have less trouble but if you have to go inside someone else’s building/facility life is going to get a lot tougher.

Exactly, we are in a similar position but we could both retire today. The real issue is healthcare, try to get a new policy written for you and dependents when all have to check the box as “unvaccinated“ will Not be pretty.

I really feel sorry for those who have to make this tough decision, however, I would encourage everyone to hold out as long as possible if you really do not want the jab. The way the numbers all around the world are trending, the vaccines are not only not holding, they are proving to be dangerous. Today with Moderna being outlawed in 2 countries for those under 30 is a big deal. The lawsuits are already flying, so if you can hold out a while, I'd do so. Last, the labor pool is so shallow, I do not see how these companies will survive firing their best talent, there is a good chance they will start making exceptions. Why hasn't the white house released the actual mandate yet? Could it be illegal?

Good to hear some differing opinions, we have had some vaxed pts in the hospital, but not in ICU.

There is a difference between supporting one's family, and supporting one's family to the manor in which they have become accustomed.

My biggest fear for those making these decisions is that it will be based solely on the income that may not be there in the coming years.

In my situation my job is dam near bulletproof. It provides a nice living and very good retirement. And I may be able to put my kids through college.
I have no college degree so finding a new career with no experience will be next to impossible at any decent pay scale.

I already bailed on buying a new toy hauler, selling the truck I just bought and probably selling the Jeep I got not long ago. All so we will be in a better financial state with cash on hand in case I make the decision to follow beliefs over money.
This job provides me the ability to give my kids a very good start in life. Do I make them pay the price fir my stubbornness? Do I become a hypocrite and cave?

I’m fucked either way it seems.

Just my .02. I do not respect my father for the money he has I respect him because he is a principled man and steadfast in his beliefs. Over the years I have learned anybody can have money, but very few are principled and steadfast. 🤷🏼

I think the age of one's dependents may come into play to some degree. Young one's don't care or have a grasp on finances. They want to be with you as a parent. Older ones, at least those that have avoided the indoctrination and can think for themselves a bit, can see that sacrifices are made to further progress. It's that middle area where things are tough.
There are no easy answers. I know you are but one of literally millions, with this same issue. If everyone stuck together, they would have to back down. The problem is, no one seems to believe in the strength of unity...and the powers that be have done a fine job dividing us all :(
That is no accident.

I’m ready to take a stand but I will be alone at my work. Hopefully the lineman stand together.

My wife hasi worked FROM HOME for a company contracted with the VA. for 4 year's now. She is the best at what she does (getting veterans in Dr.'s nationwide with proper info and records). She looses her job Nov. 30. I guarantee you thousands of vet's a year now are screwed from just her alone. She works 4:30am-6:30pm almost every day for shit pay but she cares and now for what?

Mo and dad have some dementia issues . Both got vexed to to moms paranoia. Most of my family got it cause they have underlying circumstances. They know where I stand and my beliefs on it. They understand. Till yesterday when my older sister pretty much said I'm not will to get the jab to see my parents. I said no you're not letting me see my parents cause I'm not vaxed. Then tried to bring up facts about my job and being vaxed but she has no clue what's what. So family is being divided like the government wants. If any of this makes sense

I've been in a holding pattern for some time now. I feel like everyone should have a choice, and that choice should not be made under duress or coercion. Hanging someone's job over their head is both in my opinion.

I'm holding out as long as I can and during the wait, I'm praying more and more information will continue to come to light. I'm hopeful it will cause lawmakers and policymakers to second-guess these tyrannical mandates.

But at the same time how do you do any of that if you die from the jab? Seems that is turning into a higher chance than dying of covid.

Lawmakers & policymakers are not worried about your well being, only their own clique matters.😡

My SIL is a travel nurse currently in Boston. She has said its basically 50/50 vaxxed/unvaxxed in the hospital. Her estimation is 30/70 vaxxed/unvaxxed dying. 90% of all those are obese. Her advice is don't bother with the vax.

A big concern I have with this shit is more about if large numbers of employees are axed, especially in highly trained/educated positions such as healthcare, who the fuck are "they" going to hire to fill these positions??
No fucking way is some buzz cut pink haired bull with blue armpit hair they hired from StarBucks drawing blood from this muthafuka.
Seriously!! Who is gonna replace dedicated professionals in any of these kinda positions? 🙄😏😠

well in New York and Colorado, they called in the National Guard to offset the staffing shortage.
Read an article the other day, NY Nurse was terminated for not being vaxed, yet she was a reserve in the National Guard and since the NG still has not rolled out the vax requirement (it has been all talk), she is back at the same hospital as part of the NG Assignment.
