Take is easy on Joe,
He is not as dumb as he looks…
He‘s not… he just learns things a bit slower than most…

Talk slow, if you use a white board he learns alot faster.

Cracking myself up… That was fun… at your expense. LOL…

Joe, gonna make a SoCal run in mid Oct… might have some a few bottles with me.

Joe must have logged on early and it was lost in the myriad of gummie ads. I used to go on the site early morning around 5:00-5;30, but all the spam is ruining it so from now on I’ll wait for a moderator to wake up and clean the site up.

its not very up to date. as an example i jut flew over lake Isabella where they are showing a fire near, its out.

Its as updated as the sources provide data. The forest service calls fires 40-50% contained when they “appear” all out.

Maybe Gramps can chime in on the whole containment % rating as I dont get it.

Containment and “out” are two different things.

Containment means it stops growing, by fire crews starving it of fuel (fire breaks) or keeping it pushed back with water/retardant. Out means they have to cover every hotspot and make sure nothing is going to reignite.

Containment can happen and a fire still take weeks to be out.
