It was the Havasu crew event....docks/beach etc were reserved. The last couple weeks have been busy as shit on the water...its going to be another jam packed summer.

Bummed we didn’t make it out this weekend. I haven’t seen a ton of shots from today’s event but it looked busy. Doesn’t take a huge percentage of their followers to pack a spot.

Gas prices will slow down the lake traffic. The summer weather and the weekend event kicked it off strong. The major weekends and channel traffic won’t be impacted much. The off weekends and spots up and down river should be awesome. Sounds like it’s time to brush up on my Spanish and salsa moves

It was packed but an awesome day on the water. Perfect temperature. We had lunch at pirates and the boys played pool at the Springs. Home for dinner on the EVO. Lots of great things to look at - looking forward to a killer summer.

Ran the boat a bit last Friday and thought the same about the summer crowds. Was busy for a Friday in March can only imagine how it will be come May.

What is the Havasu crew event?

Havasu Crew and Havasu State Of Mind are Instagram/Facebook groups that basically sell merchandise and hangout together. They put on a Spring Meet Up which started back with River Whips and has been going on since at least 2017. It has evolved into the unofficial start of boating season.

The Havasu Crew/Havasu State Of Mind have done a great job turning it into an organized deal with pre party on Friday night and the meet up at Pirates on Saturday. I saw a bunch of pics and there was some nice hardware out yesterday. Lake looked packed!!

It was a great day on the water. My only criticism of the day was fuel cost but hey, I cherish each day I'm able to go boating. Was surprised at the 11oclock line at Campbell cove for gas. Seems others share my outlook. Lots of pontoons out. Spots to park at the dunes. Met some new people there as usual. Ran across a tractor wake on the way down river. Just seemed like a typical early season day on the water.

Oh and for about an hour nobody was blasting music on the beach. That was actually kind of nice for once.

Water cannons yes. Crowds no.
Pirates was crowded so we left. Never complained about it. Found another beach, easy.
Actually went to the channel. It was packed but had spots for 2 boats.
It was loud, stereo wars. (Thats not a fucking complaint)
