I carry a Narcan dose in my backpack, but lately I've been worried about whether there is any liability if you administer it, but it wasn't an OD. Can Narcan have an adverse affect if the person wasn't having an opiate OD?

Neighbors kid just got hired with an LA fire department . . . he said their paramedics will administer Fentanyl as a pain killer to some patients.
i had no idea it was even a legitimate drug.
Can't confirm . . . just what he told me.

They probably didn’t give enough if it or she doesn’t get the analgesic effect the same as some people. It’s quick acting, and relatively short lived, which is why the ER docs likes it In a pre hospital setting. Now, if it was me, I would have given her Ketamine. That’s the shit!

I’ve had five minor surgeries and I realize why MJ and Prince took that propofol or whatever they took. It’s such a great sleep you get. I imagine the same with any drug. Chasing that high again

According to the CHD you can't be sued for administering narcan in Colorado and it has zero adverse effects.
But he also thinks they use fentanyl instead of baking soda to cut it.

Yup, it’s true. PD gives it for everything. Ive shown up where its been given to diabetics and drunks

Had a friend with a chronic back disease who was prescribed fentanyl by his doctor. It’s a lot different the the Chinese Black Market stuff that’s cooked in a trash can, lol

I’m not a drinker! But! I’m getting pretty sick and Fooking tired of these pain management doctors treatin people like we are All druggies Just wanting stronger meds! SO! It appears I need to start drinking daily - and a fair amount, or find me some of that clean fentanyl! — I was years on diladed (sp) 8mg X5 per day and quit on my own when I fired that Dr. — thinking back! — was dumb on my part! — at least it was working!
