Ground shaking in Riverside
Ground shaking in Riverside
I heard it coming (we are off of Deep Creek Rd), and my phone alert went off just before it hit.apple valley to. Not to crazy but I guess my dog is not a earthquake warning dog. She didnt it move.
The Northridge and Whittier quakes kept us busy for a while. Changed a lot of seismic codes in my trade also.We need a good one taking down buildings and freeways again.
Same here and I am right off the river bed on the Hesperia side.I heard it coming (we are off of Deep Creek Rd), and my phone alert went off just before it hit.
Between this one and the smaller Big Bear one a couple of weeks ago, I'm definitely making sure my earthquake policy is up to date and paid.Same here and I am right off the river bed on the Hesperia side.
Shouldn't be too far from the San Andreas.WNW of Lytle Creek - 4+ level quake
Landers in ‘92 was bigger than that. Couple of 6.2’s, 6.3 if I remember correctly. Those were BIG.Lucy Jones just stated; it was where the San Andreas and the San Jacinto faults come together in Cajon Pass. I also read that in 1970 there was a 5.2 quake there with a fore shock of 4.0. Hoping this isn't a foreshock.

You are right ~ just logged back in to say I was wrong & correct myself. “Mrs.”Landers was a 7.3, the Big Bear that followed was a 6.5
They were actually quite a bit bigger than that, 7.3 and 6.5 if I remember correctly, we were in Havasu at the time and felt both here. I was just giving info on the same area for that 1970 quake. It's about 20-1 that todays quake is a foreshock.Landers in ‘92 was bigger than that. Couple of 6.2’s, 6.3 if I remember correctly. Those were BIG.
I have a nagging feeling that something bigger is coming. Felt that way for a little while now, and these last 2 quakes aren't making me feel any better.Lucy Jones just stated; it was where the San Andreas and the San Jacinto faults come together in Cajon Pass. Same gut feeling here as wellI have a nagging feeling that something bigger is coming. Felt that way for a little while now, and these last 2 quakes aren't making me feel any better.
