4th order in 2 weeks, next day shipping on all of them. Not even one of them was on time. Not sure if it’s J&P or the whole delivery process. This is totally messing up my refurb.😎

Next day from the west coast is never on time for me. From the east coast and the south I always get things on time.

It’s always the weather that screws it up

With FedEx you are paying for the Next Day shipping... like the next day after you actually needed it... and if it doesn't show up that day it might be the Next Day after that. Totally in line with what they are selling. ;)

FedEx is bad but OnTrac / Laser Ship is even worse. UPS has something to prove right now with the raises and so far they have been the best of the 3.

I order stuff all the time from a vendor next day air. If it comes ups it is there in the morning. If they ship it fedex I am lucky to get it the next day. They are all over the board. I ordered some parts ground. Some came from Reno and some from Texas. The parts from texas showed up first. You just hope you get them sometime before you really need them.

I ship through the USPS and UPS only....Fedex can eat a dick. UPS has yet to screw anything up. USPS screws up all the time but they're cheap so that's to be expected. Fedex has screwed up every time I've tried to use them.

I struggle with FedEX. I'm in Oregon and all goes well until it hits the Troutdale, OR depot. Then things magically disappear. There's gotta be a massive crime ring at that facility will all the stuff I've lost there over the years.

FEDEX sucks balls , occasionally I get inbound from vendors with them but I will not use them by choice. We ship nationwide and Canada with UPS and international with USPS We love our UPS drivers and local depot folks . We recently went UPS via Ship Station with decent savings $$ vs our UPS account . Note anyone who ships should also look into UPS capital for "stupid simple" shipping insurance resolution .

Persistance is Key, We follow , track and aid our customers BUT I've had vendors say "they have no control over UPS etc" , that's simply lazy poor customer service , example recent lost shipment denied out of hand twice , pushed them and they finally admitted they lost the package stating their GPS proved delivery the receiver had video for the supposed "drop" time that proved the "drop" was bullshit and they gave in and paid the claim

EDIT Fat rat put the responsibility back on the sender , hold their feet to the fire 🔥 Put your CC in contest if necessary , They work for you !!

This ^^^

You have to keep pushing. it’s like an insurance company, they’re not simply gonna hand it over even though they should. one of my customers who’s a shipping outlet tells me she has to fight multiple times to get claims paid, but in the end she always wins

We switched to FedEx a couple of years ago for their 2 day program. Basically the same price as USPS Priority Mail. It works reasonably well, but their billing sucks and their customer support in accounting is even worse. Basically we found them overcharging due to a bug in their software but since it was over 90 days they told us they couldn't credit us. It was for a couple of thousand, and they eventually credited some of it, but our account is so screwed up I'd switch back to UPS but we are so integrated via their web API's it's a total cluster to switch.
So, I asked our 'rep' a few times for maybe some NASCAR tickets since they sponser the #11. I asked if he could get us into their hospitality tent/box, pretty much anywhere and he said he didn't know how that worked. He sent me an email a few days later with tickets --- to a WNBA game in their box at Crypto --no thanks!

20 years ago, FedEx was the best of the bunch.

What went wrong?

I’ve had pretty good luck with FedEx, but I don’t use them as often as UPS. I ordered a watch from Germany last Sunday night around Midnight AZ time, and it was on my doorstep Tuesday before lunch. I was impressed.
