Is Boat shop North West building them or Lavey Craft? Are they the same people? I will be buying one closer to the end of 2020 or early 2021.
That boat is solid white gel coat? I want a turn key 120+++ or low 130s boat with a very nice stereo and Sinrad display. Who should I contact? I had a 27 Daytona with 1200hp ran 130, I sold that and have a Tri toon with a 400R on it now runs 65Mph need to help the speed withdraws. I want to own a Redline!
Thank you Matt Bargren

Get ahold of Joe Malich 253-606-2816. He owns Boat Shop North West and acquired the molds and name form RPM after Steve passed.

If you order a new one right now, I'll put money that you won't see it till the end of next year. My friend has the carbon boat and also the red and white one ( that was supposed to be delivered last desert storm, he still doesn't have it). Nothing against Laveycraft, it just takes that long to get it.

The blue one Lavy had at the LA show you could see the fiber matting through the gel. Is this some special type of lay up, or material that causes it, or light on the gel?

Not knocking it, just stood out.

That’s what true carbon fiber boats look like. This is a picture of a 50 Skater I saw the other day, same thing if you look where the door is reflecting in the paint, you’ll see the carbon matting.

Teague motor and an SCX or #6 drive would get you there 👍🏻

Thought there had to be an explanation as Lavy builds beautiful boats which had me scratching my head

Love this thing! Picked it up at the end of last season, spent the winter dialing it in. (Think this will be RD's next feature.) Love to meet up with any RPM owners for a run!

Lavey did not build the hull on that boat. Another shop did the glass and that boat was brought over to Lavey when they got the molds. Lavey basically finished that boat.

You will not see a boat that Lavey did the fiberglass have fiberglass or carbon or core material printed through the gel. Long story short; that’s a by product of being a full 100% carbon boat, yes there’s ways around that from happening, but then it would be about a 95% carbon boat and not a 100% carbon boat, it also has to do with how the gelcoat was applied and how the first couple of carbon layers are applied.

Tritoon with a single 400r is running 65? What kind of boat is that?

I watched Steve drive one at the Lake Cumberland Poker Run. He ran it hard through some very angry water and it far exceeded what I thought a 26 footer could do. I thought the build looked first class but I found the lines and interior design far behind Eliminator and DCB. Just my two cents. However did not seem to hop or have any bad habits. It may be the benchmark for cats this size as far as overall performance. The new mods on the interior and hatch areas have helped the looks.

That boat runs very good! Handles calm water great and handles rough water great! The single #6 drive on that boat is a great setup!
I personally ran that boat up to 108mph at 5063rpm before I had to pull back on the stick because I was out of room but the boat was still pulling and climbing mph at a steady rate. So with a couple hundred rpm left and given more space to hang it out I don’t doubt it would it would have run 112-115mph.
