Is it possible, just possible, that a politician who mis-handled confidential documents while in office, maybe mis-handled such documents after leaving office, maybe inadvertently? Are you willing to at least consider the possibility?

It’s highly likely these were not just Betty Crocker recipes he had stored at his COUNTRY CLUB.
Of course it is possible. But not to true believers, for them it is religion.

Oh you mean like how Hillary Clinton did? Sure anything is possible....

I would also think considering the multiple attacks and impeachments he went through if he had anything really that important the fbi would have been there shortly after he departed the white house not almost two years later.

No argument from me. I had the same reaction initially. However, if he had possession of Top Secret documents, did not turn them over when requested (and it appears he did, but will let the facts play out), the FBI action was appropriate.

Plain and simple. Check out what it takes to get Top Secret clearance. The adults in the room take this stuff seriously, despite the apparent double standard vis a vis Clinton.

BUT!!!

This very same situation came up with "Oblamer" and he has yet to turn them over.

Maybe it is just a matter of interpretation of the law, who's asking, and who it involves (AKA) which Party it involves.🤔

What adults would that be?
Where exactly will these “facts” come from?

No shit.
10 years and 2 failed impeachments, Russia Russia Russia, the Stormy Daniels debacle (which she owes money to Trump now, court ordered for the Oracle’s satisfaction), the absolute waste of taxpayer money for all of these things and so much more including the Jan 6th witch hunt.
ALL for one purpose and one purpose only…remove Trump from any option regardless of what half the country wants.
They raided the last Presidents home…they sent in the FBI.
How the fuck can anyone think that is “appropriate” without straight up treason charges as a catalyst?
How can ANYONE defend this as a “wait and see” situation?
Is it any fucking wonder that these fucking traitors do whatever the hell they want?
Wishy washy do nothing populace scared of their own shadows.

THEN!!, if what several others have backed up, Trump and his Attorney were communicating back and forth with the DOJ:confused: then when he is out of town and not expecting other than the Talks continuing!! BAM, let's make a Production out of this (Fill In the Blank), just like Roger Stone barge into his house and in Cuffs and Leg Irons intimidating him and his frail Wife who has Cancer, not allowed to answer the phone or talk to anyone. Removing pictures from the Wall and punching out the item from the frame, dumping every drawer on the floor, and on. Fucking "Oblamer" started this using Taxpayer funded Agencies of intimidating and harass American Citizens, because of their Political affiliation. These several years-long Out Of Control NAZI Style Enforcement must stop before someone gets killed.

I was raised with the standard of the Worst thing you can ever say to a Person, is to tell them "I have No Respect For You" and I have ZERO for the FBI, DOJ, SECRET SERVICE, and am reserving thoughts on the Supreme Court.

Think back and ask yourself before that White America Hating POS "Oblamer" did you ever see anything close to this? Remember he said, "I have a Pen" and everything Can Change with a Stroke Of It.

Obama was the first to openly attack us.
The Bush’s and earlier admins had the common decency to try to hide their underhanded activities. They cultivated the the “conspiracy theory” label to more easily hide stuff in plain sight.
Now these fucks don’t even bother because we wont do anything about it except whine.

Well we are still finding out details. As always who and what do you believe at this point? So I guess let's look at this more openly, if he really did take "classified" information why did it take over a year and half for them to raid his house? We can say they requested it sure, but do you really think again considering what he has been through with impeachments, lawsuits, ect and the fact that he is going to run again that he would risk that? I don't think so but that's just me.

Lastly, don't know about you but government in general has lost all credibility with me over the last decade. I really think the Hunter Biden story was gaining steam in mainstream media as well as this spending bill that will be really bad and they needed another distraction. It got to a point that even the left wing media couldn't stuff it away anymore and this is the perfect distraction.

No argument on the Hunter Biden story, but I think the Dems we’re actually proud of the passage of the Chips and the other Big Spending Act. This raid trumped their publicity on that victory lap and certainly emboldened the conservatives.

I don’t think they wanted this distraction.

I kind of agree with you in regards to the "Dem's we're actually proud of the passage of the Chips and other Big Spending Act" part. Reason being is they are used to putting titles on spending bills that make it look like it's for the greater good of the people. What I think they didn't anticipate is the blowback due to the details of the bill coming out so quick on mainstream media especially the "irs" part. I think they still think people are sleeping and not onto their agenda like years before and they freaked out imho.

Ya, when they dropped the change to “carried interest” from the bill, it was a complete sell out.

He arguably has more power now.
The POTUS is in effect a temporary government employee, and frankly is kept in the dark about a lot of, or even most of, the dark funding and happenings.
The difference with Jao is that he is an embedded lifelong politician who is privy to everything, and has zero concern about the populace. (The exact opposite of Trump)
Even Obama cared a little bit about trying to hide shit. It was easy for him since he has blind followers. All he has to do is smirk and his sheep believe him.

Why did it take over a year and a half is the key question.

A possibility that has been reported is that the former President and his lawyers represented, after the first boxes of documents were turned over and classified docs were found by the National Archives to their surprise, that there were no more. None, nada.

Then a “source”, at least according to reports, recently stated that there were still classified documents remaining. And that was the genesis of new found urgency and the basis of the warrant. Objectively the source was correct given the property receipt.

Who knows. Time will tell as it will most likely come out given the alleged gravity of these documents.

I’d be worried if I was one of those other than the former President who made that purported representation. They will be the ones who will most likely take the fall if true.

I don't believe the FBI and DHS. This is most probably bullshit, generated by the DOJ and approved by AG Merrick Garland. He is a dangerous man.

A bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Bureau of Investigation was sent to law enforcement agencies warning of increased threats following the FBI's execution of the search warrant at former President Trump's Florida estate.

In the days since the warrant was executed, the FBI and DHS have seen an increase in "violent threats" against law enforcement, judiciary and government personnel, including a particular threat to "place a so-called Dirty Bomb in front of FBI headquarters," according to the bulletin.

"General calls" for "civil war" and "armed rebellion" have also increased in recent days on social media.

Maybe so 530RL, problem is credibility in my eyes. Who at this point has it and who has more of it?

A "source" worked just fine when the left was attempting to discredit the right in tons of articles. When the right questions the "source" it seems to be a problem? There seems to lie the bias in the media, thus the trust issue.

This worries me a great deal. When chatter like that gets put to print, it usually means something happens....

No, I said “His Country Club.” Had I meant Hillary, I would have said “Her.”

Your sarcasm is not lost. I agree, the same standard should have been applied. However, ironically, the public rebuke she got from Comey at the time may have cost her the 2016 election. See editorial in today’s WSJ on this very matter.

This is FUBAR on so many levels. Fuking Fed Criminals Attacking US because they are caught. If the Dirtbag "Some People." who did criminal something, didn't do any crime, there would be no need to attack the Citizenry, and for the Truth to come out. Pay the Piper.

Yeah because Trumper's were calling for defunding the police and were out in every major city during 2020 committing violence towards LEO. The rest of it is just stupid.

Isn’t it ironic that now it is the MAGA party leadership who are calling to defund the police as well as encouraging violence against LEO’s.

Didn’t take very long for them to begin to agree with Antifa.

Why are you mocking me? I try to get a balanced mosaic of news from several sources, including Fox. WSJ is not known for a solid liberal slant, owned by Murdoch, right of center if anything, if that’s your point.

If you have a substantive rebuke, why not say it? I read and post here to enjoy the discussion. Maybe I just don’t get subtlety, I dunno.

It’s not you I’m necessarily mocking.
It’s the assessment of elections, the forecasting depending on various possible manipulations, and their results.
I would wager that 60% or more of the voting public in 2016 could not tell you who Comey even is.
To me it’s ridiculous to suggest that Comeys statements could even come close to costing Killary the election.
She lost because the powers that be failed to adequately assess the threat of, and support for, DJT.
But I can assure you that will never happen again. Ever.
That’s why I also find it humorous when people worry about upcoming elections. Specifically the concern about alienating this or that block of voters.
I know at our core we are on the same side.
But I was raised in a household where my dad actually did the things most people consider conspiracy theory. Both as a career combat controller and otherwise.
He taught us at a very young age about how things really work. The deception and the smoke and mirrors and especially the media.
There is no “balance” except what we create in our minds. We are offered different scenarios to choose from, and we select what fits our thinking…but it’s all the same.
We have a voting machine process named “Dominion”…who’s cover page states outright that providing tailored election requirements is their specialty and priority. The stated goal of Bilderbergs and others is “Full spectrum dominance”
I don’t know how much more blatant they can be?

The media was created for this very reason.
This is really nothing new.
I haven’t looked lately, but historically about half of the Bilderberg attendees are heads of media.

You talked recently about Trumps clearance or lack of.
I had secret clearance for a number of years, as a civilian DoD employee.
I never saw any world changing shit, but working beside Raytheon, CH2M Hill, Honeywell etc was an eye opener.
I got to tour the Cobra Dane, hung out with SAC boys who ran the Cobra Ball at Shemya for years.
Worked at every publicly known LRRS on the Alaska coastline (Raytheon operations) and interior sites with Hill…and some not so advertised sites.
So I like to believe I’m really not just a basement dwelling knucklehead.
