That is our old Stoker. Sold it about 2 years ago to a guy from Willow Valley also. My dad has tried calling him but has been unable to reach him. Prayers to all involved.

I missed this post while frantically trying to see if you're parents were ok. I hit up your sister.

This has not been a good end to the boating season. I have two unrelated ocean boating incidents, with three dead, about to hit my office this next week for two insurance companies. Hope the children in addition to all adults had proper vests on.
Just spoke to my buddy whose brother was in the boat with his twin boys. Said they are okay with just a few bumps and bruisers. Sounds like the kids had proper vest on

If you look close at the picks of the stoker you can see that the lower unit is snapped off and facing the opposite direction, most likely where it impacted the other boat, not good.

It isn't, be careful with what you post. Let the LEO's do there job and announce their findings.

And that's exactly why I didn't post what I thought wasn't neccesary. I don't want to say anything and piss off any of both parties! My thoughts and prayers are out to both sides!

My best friend Danny was the driver of the Schiada in the accident. I was sitting in the back seat with my twin two year old boys and Danny's co-worker was sitting shotgun. I'd like to share this story in hopes that the boating community can come together to support Danny's wife and 3 year old daughter.
Danny and are both seasoned boaters and loved taking our wife's and kids to his River house in Needles. On Oct 9 the morning started out like a normal day at the river. We headed down river with the family and spent a great day on the on the water. In the afternoon we headed back up river and dropped our wife's, and Danny's daughter off at the house and headed back out for a quick ride. We went down river for one mile and then headed back up river 1.5 miles and were about to make our last turn to head back to the house when we were T-boned. The other boat struck directly were Danny was sitting and launched at least 100 yards further up river from where we were. All passengers on our boat stayed in the boat. The entire top cap of the boat and the engine hatch were ripped off and in the water. I had minor injuries, the front passenger had broken ribs, my kids were both bleeding from there face, mouth and heads and one of them had to have some staples in his head. We are all recovering well. Danny was knocked to the back of the boat and was at my feet unconscious. (I am a paramedic firefighter) I rolled Danny over and open his airway and watched him take his last breath. I then found my phone and called 911 and was able to get the boys over to needles marina with the help of a pontoon boat that stopped and helped.
This was was a tragic accident that was defiantly not do to any inexperience or reckless driving on Dannys part. No matter how safe you are out there, sometimes there's nothing you can do to avoid something like this. Danny was one of the smartest, most amazing father and husband I have ever met. He was an absolute joy to be around. He will defiantly be missed!
A page has been put together to raise money for Danny's daughter. I just thought that I would reach out to the boating community and ask for a little help. Please share the link as well. Thank you.

Sorry to read this. What a sad story for you and your boys.

RIP Danny.

Accidents happen so fast.

What direction was the boat that hit you traveling? Same as you or the opposite? What a crazy story. :(

So sorry for your loss, what a tragic accident.

About 5 or 6 years ago i was in a boat collision (over the transom rear-end runover) that was literally inches/split second from being catastrophic, I know first hand how accidents like this can happen so fast.

My thoughts to the family and friends, this is a sad reminder of how you can never let your guard down when boating in close/congested quarters, or anywhere for that matter, but especially on the river. :(
