Crazy…I think this is the second or third armed robbery at fashion island?

We were just there dropping off something at my cousins house in Newport coast. We decided to eat at Joey’s- It wasn’t very good this time. People watching at the bar is great though. But, a lot of people there are easy targets with the amount of jewelry they are wearing.

Last week, my aunts house was robbed in Irvine. They have been in Lebanon for a month. So someone knew it was empty. And, her house is not easy to get to when you enter the community. They joked it was safer in Lebanon- about a year ago, a man was shot and killed in front of their house in Irvine as well. They arrived home a few nights after their house was robbed.

This is why I suddenly stopped wearing jewelry. I actually wear it on river trips only now. I’ll stick to the old gas saving car, and just roll in the truck when I need something exciting to drive.

Does she live in a gated community? The Irvine company needs to just wall off the city and hire an army. The Brens will be like the lannisters
No gate- it’s in one of the older communities. I doubt my aunt ever locked her door or cars while they were home. They just felt that safe over the years. I even read a news article that 34 homes were hit in 35 days back in March. But, I think a huge problem with Irvine is there are a lot of empty homes or when people travel for extended periods of time.

And allow all these idiot liberal politicians along with the idiot voters that voted for these idiot politicians to get away with Zero Bail policies, No Crime for looting, Open Borders, No Jail time for most anything other than Felonies, and if they do get caught they are out ASAP.
Also, Now that a notorious Venezuelan gang has moved their head quarters right across the border in Texas and have been found working for Uber, Grub Hub, and all the food delivery services since reporting that they have had a influx of illegals and gang members joining their firms delivering food and etc, the crime rate is going to inch up every day.

I agree, acting/dressing pretentious has its downfalls these days.
Robert was in his work uniform. He got a few looks at Joeys which doesn’t have a dress code, but people are a bit pretentious there, he didn’t care. He wanted to eat at flemings because he claimed his shirt was collared, but I thought they wouldn’t seat us. I found out later, they would have seated us without a problem.

This is 100% the problem, there is no accountability for crimes anymore...slap on the hand, and back out doing it again...
I can’t remember where I saw this video from. A guy had a flat tire, he found a truck with the same tire size. Proceeded to take off the tire and people started to film him and he said it’s less than a $1000 crime, cops won’t do anything.

Can’t tell you if it was fake or not.

Most of our work is in Irvine. Many homes empty but luckily gated for the most part. Theres ppl who go to china like 4+ times per month. Wouldn’t you rather just handle it all in one trip lmao

The tailgate was stolen off of my truck last week…pretty sure I found it for sale on Marketplace. Guy has about 40 other tailgates for sale too. Called cops, they won’t help with anything. “Can’t prove he stole them”. It’s bullshit.

Also found a suspect vehicle and suspect of a hit and run last night that was posted about on one of the neighborhood pages. I reached out to LBPD, who told me to call Lakewood Sheriffs since the accident took place in Lakewood. So I did, and they told me that Long Beach (suspect vehicle current location) was out of their juristiction, and I had to call LBPD. The lady who was hit finally responded and drove over to the parking lot on the phone with LBPD, who informed her they didn’t have anyone to send out and someone would call her in the morning to follow up.

Law enforcement is completely fucking useless. They should all just stay home

It’s bullshit what the fucking liberal scum have done to this state. They can all eat a dick.

The cops themselves want nothing more than to help. It’s the District Attorney’s and the police chiefs playing politics that have handcuffed their rank and file.

Not until these shitbags start coming to the homes of the liberal bleeding hearts will something begin to change unfortunately.

Yep, they’re isolated from it so they just don’t get it….they can’t see past the tips of their noses.

My dad has always been a dem voter…hates TRUMP, voted for gascon, newsom, etc….i was telling him about all this shit last night and how I’m so fucking livid over it, and my understanding of why it’s like this now…and he said “I’m starting to see why people vote for Trump”. He lives in Manhattan Beach, a nice little bubble. I also told him that as soon as the wife is back on her feet, we’re the fuck out of this state….and that affects him, because I’m all he’s got to take care of him. He has a choice to live here and die alone or join us and move from his home of 60 years…and now all of a sudden, presented with that reality, and realizing that the voting habits of him and people like him have put us in this situation, he’s beginning to see the light.

I understand. They should all just quit or stay home, since showing up accomplished nothing except burning tax dollars.

It really is sad what is happening in places. I remember Dana showing pics of the homeless camped around the shop in OC. I remember thinking "I know that area, it was nice". I remember reading about a stabbing by a homeless man, killing a lady near a park I knew in the San Dimas area. I feel bad for those that work to have things, homes in nice areas, businesses to make a living, and still have to risk violence and theft.

I worked in some really bad areas, and commuted 45 miles to what I felt was a decent area. When the economy tanked, that area became fairly heavily targeted, about one break in or home invasion a week on average. Now it seems that is the norm in some areas, and the economy is not very bad. Society has just started to decay enough to see the damage being done.

I think thats slowly changing as well, I have friends that are in LE, they say the younger guys arent like them, they dont want to do the extra work that comes with actually arresting someone...they want to issue a citation if anything and move on...

Was just going to post something like this. This lackadaisical approach towards crime has already been indoctrinated to young new hires, who will be our future law enforcement. It will tough to change that but hopefully they can somehow. Gascon, Newsome etc knew this though. If they could get a few years of their agenda in it would affect the entire force for years to come…

When you have City Councils and Mayors offices publicly berating law enforcement to score points with their idiot voters the outcome is entirely predictable.

How bad do you think things would get if LAPD went on strike or walk out for a month ?? or even a week for that matter. Maybe they should give it a whirl and show the council members how bad things can get.

Things would get better because nobody would be around to arrest the good folks for solving the problem in a manner that actually works

Would think within a week things would deteriorate rapidly with the size and scale of Los Angeles... It only took 2.5 weeks for small Chaz area to deteriorate into four shootings, two deaths, arson and several sexual assaults. That was 6 city blocks...imagine the size and scale of the LAPD patrol and remove any police presence from that...it will be anarchy in less than a week.

In history, other countries have intentional let things slide, so the populace cries out for order. The response can be swift and harsh, totalitarian if you will.

"The ends justify the means"
The goal isn't a destroyed country, it is a fully controlled populace.

There are some interesting responses in this thread. While I agree with some of the things people have said, I'd have to say that other folks seemed to have lost all hope. That's unfortunate.

Yes, Newscum is a complete POS. I don't even bother with trying to understand that asshole anymore. His sights are on other "Things" outside of California and what he has allowed to happen in this state is criminal. He deserves prison for what he's done for the people of this once great state.

Gascon can eat a bowl of dicks and fuck off. He has allowed LA County to become the shithole that it is and he has turned the entire law enforcement world upside down. He sucked while at LAPD and he sucks even worse in his current position with his shitty liberal policies.

I won't go on about political figures far above my level; but I will tell you what I see and know from firsthand experiences. The newer generation of law enforcement is different from the "Old school" practices of years gone by. It's not necessarily good or bad, but different. These young officers are STILL hungry and are excited to go after assholes on a daily basis. In our shop, I can say without a doubt, they are really good at their jobs. We have young men and women who are excited to take people to jail for any reason deemed appropriate. We don't operate under the policies and procedures enacted by a POS District Attorney and we don't shy away from doing our job. Our guys do not arrest people based on the idea of "Well, the D.A. isn't going to file this case, so we're going to let this guy go. It's just not worth it." Bullshit! You come to our city and commit crimes, and we catch you, we will happily haul your ass to jail. We have officers, both young and older, who are rushing around day and night, trying their best to be proactive, chasing criminals and doing what they can to prevent criminal activity in our community. Rest assured, not everyone in the law enforcement community is "Giving up." There are those of us who STILL care and are happy to do our job, regardless of what Gascon feels. Our hope is his dumb ass is voted out in the upcoming months and we can move forward with protecting and serving our communities the way it's intended.

Carry on.....

Gascon has been the single worst contributed to crime in Southern California end of story every hood Ratt and parole in East LA knows what’s going on that no one is being prosecuted for any property crime whatsoever. . If it involves a gun that’s a different situation and that’s the exception.
I never used to carry my .40, all the time but now I’m packing 24 seven with extra magazines.

Look at the KTLA news article from yesterday they got a home invaders. A cockroaches from Compton were out in Sherman Oaks and LAPD had them under surveillance. I’m sure it was SIS ,the Special Investigation Section with the airship up. I knew everyone of those guys most of all my ex partners working in South Central tough dudes. They work 20 hours a day sometimes I can’t even publish some of the things they do to get an eyeball on someone. Member back in the day they surveilled some bandits into a McDonald’s up on the hills and full head area and when they came out, they blasted them.

the Compton cockroaches ran last night, when they jumped out in Compton.

The only only difference is years ago. There’d be a lot of dead bodies in Compton going down Compton Creek, nowadays you chase them on foot.
F that. But we’re in 2024.

Nuts. I’m staying right across the street with the in-laws. Usually super safe. I wonder what they were doing in the parking lot at midnight…. Random.

This is what happens when you let 20 Million Unvetted Illegal Aliens into your country. A high percentage of them were released from prisons and bused or flown to the US Southern Border. FKH
If you look at the people committing the crimes, I'd venture most of them were born here without fathers. This is an American grown problem and its only going to get worse.

The city of Newport is partiality to blame. We have a vacation house on Balboa Island, and spend some time there in the summer. The city has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising to bring the ghetto to the beach. They are soliciting tourist dollars, that the local merchants really don't need. We do most of our shopping at Fashion Island, as there are really no malls in Parker Az. Since the last fatal at Fashion Island, we no longer wear our wedding rings or watches when we go out. We now stay off the peninsula and the Fun Zone after dark. Very sad as it used to be one of the safest cities on the coast.

Maybe elsewhere but Todd Spitzer is old school. When caught they will do time.

The OC Sheriff is a big part of this also. I read the blogs and my best advice is to stay home during the hrs of 12 AM to 4 AM.

Friends truck stolen last year or more. He had it tracked with air tag found it callled la sheriffs they said they couldn’t do anything because can’t confirm it.

Said f it went and found it himself calls lasd again they say tell him do not process etc but they can’t go at the moment or something like that. Calls Chp they say not their problem it’s lasd.

Gets the truck as it’s in front of a hotel now then calls sheriff saying he has possesion of the truck. Finally they send a unit out.
