Just ran across there steering kits and I`m intrigued. I am thinking of ordering their kit for my 2003 dually 6.0. I only put leveling spings (not a spacer) on it but have never liked the "wandering" feeling. I rarely use the truck as it has as of right now 50,025.7 on the clock. Yeap, its a very very early 6.0 fully bulletproofed. O-ringed heads even. Has anyone used FFS and are they reputable? I cant find anything on the web. Thanks

About a month ago I gave my 1975 Southwind jet to a young dude who is a mechanic at a lawn mower shop I use. They fix all my crap all the time from ztrs to weedeaters, etc. Seemd like a dude that would bring it back to its glory days. My son just wants for free so I figured I took care of two birds one stone.

Personally I wouldn't use heims on a daily. I used a kit from Detroit axle and added 2 degree caster bushing on upper joint as @bonesfab said.

If its wandering, check the caster. more is better on 4x4 trucks.
Its nothing bad, let go of the wheel and its straight as an arrow. It just has that feel that you need to constantly adjust. I`ve always thought it to be the nature of front leafs?

Personally, I would look elsewhere. He makes some cool stuff, but I think their steering is way overpriced. Also, their steering kits are all heim jointed which I do not care for. They work good when new but every heim joint part ive ever had wears and gets a little clunky, and good quality heims are not cheap. Darrell has some very nice 1st gen dodges though, and is a nice guy to talk to. Looking at the kit, it looks like they put a lot of effort into geometry. If you do go this route, talk to him and make sure the heims will clear a dually wheel.

If you do get something heims, make sure to keep them clean.

The synergy steering seems to get decently good reviews for early superdutys, might check into those.

Call one of the guys at CJC and see what they say.
