They come out of Luke AFB and my friends in northern Peoria listen to them do training loops for hours on end sometimes.

One time I was inside the Terribles at 95/40 and two of them went over us, under 1,000ft and must have been full afterburner. It was loud as hell and shook the windows.

Agree, most nights they are doing this in havasu. Easyer to see at night as the lights of the 2 aircraft come together, for some time then separate.

We hosted two 35’s from Luke AFB few months back. We stored these two hotrods for a long weekend. Got to get up close with aircraft and crew. Was a great time. And what machines these are.

AR-649. Refueled there quite a few times. Sad to see the KC-10 retired. Definitely the "Gucci Tanker". Pulling up behind it at night was awesome. Illuminated like some cosmic spaceship.
