I think they already are and they're ratcheting it up thanks to unlimited funding and idiocy by the Puppet in Chief.

I've been asked what I think about chemtrails (fun topic on the internet). Take a look at this sickness...

Wasn't this an episode of the Simpsons as well? Led to its inventor getting murdered (Mr. Burns). Hopefully some foreshadowing there.....

All I can say is this……..

If any of you sea level rising naysayers went for a boat ride on The New River in Fort Lauderdale during a typical high tide (not a king tide) you would come to the same conclusion……. The sea level is rising. Seriously. I wouldn’t even need to point it out. I guarantee that’s the conclusion you would come too. It’s beyond obvious.

Since I can’t take you on the boat ride…….. Would you like to see pics? It not too difficult to find proof here in SoFlo? All it takes is a boat ride in any direction at high tide.

I’ll wait on the pics until one of you guys say I am wrong. Lol

One last thing……. You need waterfront homes to tell Sea Level Rise. You can’t see sea level rise on a beach. The homes are not sinking either, since I already know that that’s what some think! Lol

I think the " Naysaying " pops up when you see climate change nazi politicians spending 8 figures on ocean front homes. Makes it hard to buy into what they are selling.

The sea levels maybe rising but I think Florida sinking is a more prevalent problem for you and Florida in general. As I have said before, Until the world ( China and India included ) gets on board, this whole we are going to save the world deal is 100% bullshit. Every fucking politician and family member have profited off the go green bullshit.

How much?

I don't know how long you've lived there, but how much do you think the level has risen since 2000?

The question isn’t about sea levels. The question is whether this is solely man induced Climate Change or is it Mother Nature and her cyclical habits.

Can man doing anything to change it?

It doesn’t help that these are the same people who created CoronaVirus and then we’re screaming at citizens to get vaxed to stop the spread. All of which we know is BS.

These far left climate extremists also need to stop purchasing ocean front properties if they believe their science.

I don't argue that there is climate change or sea levels rise because of it...nor I don't disagree that the earth may be getting warmer or that humans have aided in that... What I disagree with is how most western governments use it as a scare tactic to make massive investments in questionable alternative strategies when even their data shows the effects from greenhouse gasses are decades away and very minimal. Beyond that I also think they tend to focus on the time that humans have grown in population on this earth....but the earth has been getting cooler and hotter for a lot longer than the current species has occupied it. I also question their data and sometimes massaging of it to say how much man is contributing and the most scariest question how much man's behavior can change it at this point... but let's go ahead and outlaw cars and two strokes. Same politicians are likely approving or investing in coastal properties, investing companies heavily leveraged in fossil fuel development... If they thought it was that grave of danger they would not be profiting from it, or more specifically profiting on long term investments if those technologies/resources were going to harm the earth; makes me think they know they are not harming the earth as much as they want us to believe.

If only we could "follow the science" that proves man is causing global warming err climate change and that man can fix it by taxing us Americans into oblivion while not putting pressure on China, India and other countries for "killing us all"

If only there were any unbiased scientists who are allowed to speak without the government and its media threatening them

Have you ever considered the ice ages and defrost periods that happened before mankind existed. Personally if the seas are rising why is it only happening in Florida?

I worked there, I've seen the erosion first hand. They would truck in beach compatible sand from the erosion, but the houses have never changed elevation.

Weren’t we all supposed to have died by now from aerosol cans that put a hole in the Ozone layer in the 1970’s?

Just because it’s not the way we want it doesn’t mean:
1. Something is wrong
2. Man caused it
3. Man can change the course of it…….we can’t.

I recall fighting same thing at our river house on the Chesapeake back in the 60’s

All I can show you is what I see…….

It just so happens that, what I see, is not what some want to hear……. I get it.

Those are real pictures taken today during a normal high tide. Don’t blame me if they don’t support the narrative? I am just the messenger.

I busted out laughing about the question “why only in Florida?” I hope you weren’t serious?

You have weighed in a few times about this issue, your view is being altered by the fact that most of Florida's coastline is built on swamp and marshland.

Sinkholes and collapsed condo high rises are frequently in Florida news. Your issues are land/foundation based, not sea level issues IMO.

Here on the west coast, I've spent a half a century here on the coast from Mexico to Alaska, and nothing has changed...not even a few feet.

I'm talking family owned beach access, in several states. Through friends/clients/family. No erosion other than normal issues with tides/foundations/sand bars etc.

There is still the same beach that I used to go to as a kid, same camp grounds, same parking lots, same beach access. All up against cliffs. No change in beach size.

Just my observations.

If so, do you think man can "fix it?"

Serious questions

I think the human race in general doesn’t take care of this planet.

It breaks my heart to see all the pollution in the water everywhere you go. It’s an epidemic.

Man really has no problem whatsoever polluting ground water, rivers, streams, oceans, and of course the air. Do you really think that man would blame themselves for any world problems that this might cause? Ya…… I don’t think so either.

One day you should be able to buy a huge mansion in Florida for Pennie’s on the dollar. Of course, by then it will be uninsurable. That’s the future of south Florida. That’s the prediction by 2100. It won’t happen in my lifetime.

To answer the question……… I don’t think man can fix it.

and when Mother Nature is done with us she will sneeze and we will all be gone. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it. We are not even a pimple on the elephants ass in the really big picture of things. But don’t worry the government has a tax we need to pay to help out. All we need is the yellow stone volcano to go off and the globe is done. Might take a year but we wont be around much after that. Enjoy what you have while you have it.

I say sacrifice the green crowd to the volcanos and solve two problems. Volcanos will be appeased and the rest of us will be happy.

That would really cause the volcanos to puke. Those ugly bitches, don't you remember the history in Hawaii? It was good looking virgins the volcanos wanted

The way I understand it; ocean levels can actually rise in certain areas while falling in other areas - depending on long term atmospheric high and low pressure movements. Im not talking about Fla. specifically but it actually makes sense if you think about it.

You just described a tide, or tidal surge.

Buddy lives on the intercoastal north of Miami. Says it's been more or less the same for 30 years. Depending on Hurricanes and which way the wind blows.

Most people that live in SoFlo agree it’s rising. Especially those that live right on the intracoastal waterway. I wouldn’t have believed it either, but then I moved here. It became obvious. Just saying…… from someone that lives waterfront.

The US has some of the strongest environmental regulations. We continue to push manufacturing offshore to countries that pollute a lot. We could could give US producers fair footing if we required imports to be manufactured under similar environmental regulations. Instead we export our pollution and pat ourselves on the back for being so green.

It boggles my mind that some people think the earth and the oceans, such an incredibly complex ecosystem, is never going to change. The earth is constantly changing, she’s had 7 ice ages. Look at shell reef in ocotillo wells, it was well under water at some point. There is nothing we can do about it.....

We have a place in Maui and our sea wall is gone. Big dollars now to replace with a much bigger one. Glad there is 200 condos.

Must just be an Atlantic thing.. I was born and raised on the oregon coast and go back several times a year as both the wife and my family live there. I was talking to my Uncle about this not to long ago. He has ran Hallmark Fisheries in Charleston, Or since like 1972. His office is over the water. He said he put a "high tide" marker on one of the pilings he can see from his office in the late '70s and it will change a few inches back and forth every few years but it is in the same spot today as when he hung it. Still the same today, changes every few years but basically the same just depends on the lunar cycle.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also my wife's grandma has lived in the same house on Cape Arago for 60+yrs, you could see the New Carissa from the living room window. And she also says shit hasn't really changed and she gauges the tides off of a piling she can watch out her front window. Her husband(wife's grandpa) before he passed about 8yrs ago kept a journal in his pocket since he was in his 20s. (He was in his late 70s when he passed.) There is boxes of them little note pads. Everyday weather, tides, water levels and what he did for the day. I havent seen alot of them yet. But I am curious to go through them and see the changes. Grandma just turned 88 a few weeks ago!

HAARP.........look it up, it was govt funded
that could be the cause......our govt messes with weather like they do interest rates, nothing is free and organic now

and for those that think it is a conspiracy theory, our govt accused china of the same exact thing before the Beijing olympics............making it rain for weeks before the games to get rid of the pollution........americans have a short attention span

The politicians don’t believe or care if humans can stop climate change or alter the climate. What they care about is more taxes, giving them more money and more power while crushing Americans. That’s the basis for this otherwise they’d be pressing other countries like India and China to reduce air pollution since it’s a world climate
