Wife got pulled over in Parker for rolling the stop sign. A few weeks later I was driving her to the courthouse and right in front of the courthouse I got pulled over for the same thing! It happened to be the same cop I dealt with on the sxs thread . I was given a warning and an education. You have to stop BEFORE the limit line in front of the crosswalk. I got lucky! While the wife was inside paying her fine.
We usually enter and exit Parker from the Dam side trying to avoid the town and driving on California Ave / 95 as much as possible. Lillys for breakfast, Walmart, fuel visits to a minimum.
Over-enforcement to a fault. You can get stopped for anything.

Sounds like LIDAR.

LIDAR is the ultimate cheat code for sure!! It’s almost unfair. 🤓

I'm curious.. Do Highway Patrol officers go on Waze while working a speed trap? I've always wondered this..

Hell EYE avoid it and I’m in a fully market police car. 🤓

The air speed enforcement is just a stopwatch between two highway landmarks I thought.

And then you hit the "clear" button to indicate that the LEO has moved on from that spot, right? :p:p

I know I would if I was LEO

I think it relies on more than just one confirmation that LEO has moved on.

And I just rely on the people that don’t use WAZE. Most mine are moving anyway, so tag me wherever you want, I’m not there anymore.

I’m not a fast driver so I don’t pay too much attention to it but do like to know where you salt & pepper shakers are hanging out lol

I’m more of a second from right lane driver lol

I get a ticket from the CHP just about every other year. 15 tickets and counting........ Tickets were more of a occurrence when I was younger. I'd say that my youth was more exciting, drag racing, exhibition of speed, speeding, etc....

But I've never been pulled over in a boat in all my years.

I use 3 precautions when traveling on the open road, My Escort Passport 9500IX, Waze and driving within reason for the area and conditions. These 3 precautions eliminate most situations with CHP.

Just a couple of days ago on the 101, I was going with the flow of traffic on my way home from work, about 80mph in the number 2 lane.. My radar starts alerting me of a strong KA band, I slow down a little, the alert continues, I slow down to just under 70 and a car passes me and goes into the fast lane going about 80... The CHP was right behind us, he lights him up and pulls him over. I swear, my radar detector has saved me from so many tickets.. I'm surprised so many people don't have radar detectors, it's crazy.

This is the reason why I love the Valentine 1. They have the patent on showing you which way the band is coming from, so you know if the cop is coming up from the rear or straight at ya.

Once you have the arrows it’s hard to go back to a regular radar detector.

Since we're talking about tagging police on Waze, you really gotta look further head to see them. He might've been tagged 15 mins ago and you're 15 miles from that location.......

I live in havasu and work in blythe, so the 95 to mohave to Wilson and down CA95 are my commutes. I'm usually rolling around 7-8 over the limit (except when I pass through parker), and have never had an issue.

I see the same marked units regularly and I think they have learned my car, not too many lowered buick roadmasters running around this area
