Can anyone recommend any enclosed auto transport guys for a truck to be brought from Morrow, OH to Lake Havasu? I've tried Reliable Carriers so far, but I was shocked at the 3k price tag. Maybe that's the going rate?

Maybe this couple could be the right solution and price. I've used them to transport a truck about 10 years. Precision care. High end cars.

I’ve seen a lot of high dollar cars shipped by Reliable. Never heard of any problems. I do know that a certain company went with a low bid carrier and the truck showed up with the top crushed. Low bridge I heard! I would go with Reliable!

Agree. I want to say it was mid $2k for open transport So Cal to DFW. @BAS may do closed,
I only paid $700 for a gmc canyon to be brought out to so cal from Dallas Texas on an open carrier in December, can’t believe it jumped that much that quick. most of the quotes I received were all in that range.

Mine was 2022. $700 is crazy cheap. Legit insured operator or someone on Craigslist?

Just used Montway (very highly rated/RDP recommended/broker). Booked one month ago. Picked up on the first day of the pick up window. Driver professional, very nice enclosed rig. $3500 for 2 VW Golf Rs from NC to SoCal. I called 6-7 shippers/brokers recommended by RDP, all prices about the same. The cars are enroute, but A+ so far. I'll report back once the cars are delivered.

Although some will question it, I always bid uship and just be specific about the requirements and that someone has the proper insurance... Had a boat just towed from key largo 2700 miles... Quoted all the guys from the boards and it was around 6k...Quoted uship and found a well insured driver, trackable with a great record, that happened to need to come this way for 3k... and there were several others in the same range with good reviews for 3500-3800... pays to shop around...

I can help, we have moved lots of fellow members cars and boats. They can chime in if they’d like. In the referral section put your screen name and RDP.

Crazy good price. As you can see from all the other replies here your price is an outlier. Do you have the contact info and company? I’ll need transport here in a couple of months.

I can give you the guys cell phone number, but I didn’t make the arrangements, I left it up to the dealership. I stupidly without thinking, entered my contact info into one of those vehicle shipping estimator website and at least 10 of the 15 estimates I received were all for 700 bucks, and the rest were under 1000. Since they were all close to what the dealership was going to charge, I just let them handle it.

I’d check with @BAS first though. RDP member and pricing is peace of mind for sure.

He was about $2200. They’re a broker though, and sub it out. I’m just not sure I wanna go that route
Did you call the SP auto direct?

I guess it depends and what people have going where to how much it costs. I was lucky. Think
It was $900 from lauderdale to Ventura county.

I was curious yesterday about shipping my boat from TN to FL. Only about 900 miles. I put the info in Shiply and had a dozen quotes in about 20 min. Quotes were from 1300 to 2200, with 1 said he would do it for 1k as he was near my place in TN if I wanted to do it today. All lic and insured. Was easy to unsubscribe when I got the info I wanted.

Sorry, I looked but must have deleted it. Just google vehicle transport estimate and enter your info, that’s all I did.

Hey Marc, I know a guy that constantly is moving some pretty expensive hot rods around the country, buying and selling. I can ask him if he has a connection and what it costs if you didn't nail it down yet.

Well, she made it home safe with no issues. I ended up using Nexus Auto Transport. They broker the deal out like most of the other companies.
