Talking with a couple guys in the shop, we think Eliminator needs to bring this model back.
Imagine this boat with a single 450 outboard.
Day cruiser/fishing barge, water ski/board/tube/sky ski monster you could camp out of.

I actually know of a mohave that's for sale by a family friend. '89 21ft original owner, big block alpha one boat. Curious to see what these boats are actually worth

This is a boat that shouldn’t benefit from the recent uptick in prices

I’ve always loved eliminators and have owned a few but always thought those were hideous. Can’t believe they would’ve even kept the molds.

The Mohave bottom made a great family boat, and faster than you might expect. Had a Whaler (work boat) for many years with a 200 HP Suzuki -- lots of trips to Catalina and back -- mid 60 mph top speed with a moderate onboard passenger load.

My buddy bought a 21 ft Mojave jet that was bought from an inmate many years ago now. He just finished installing new power. I think he said to expect about 700-750 hp. He seems very happy with it, but that just proves ugly is in the eye of the beer holder.

I think they'd look a LOT better with out the tall windshield and that hump the windshield runs into on top of the gunnel.

I had the Tahoe version with the same bottom. Very smooth and roomy for a 21.

Maybe ... this is a sign of the times ... with the price of boats at an all time high ... maybe peeps will start restoring older “all kinds of” boats ... I hope so ... I like seeing all of the boats we saw in the 70’s and 80’s ... sure theyre not high speed boats ... but they do have a cool factor ... especially if young guys do it . I’m all for it.

😂This thread is cracking me up 😂😂😂😂

It’s a 35 year old boat.
The molds are long gone.
It’s a time capsule. And again. It’s a 1986😎👍
Did I mention the 8 track player?🤣
Did you spray this boat? Or were you even doing that back then?

I actually knocked one over in the show room, didn’t realize it was on a dolly and moved too far forward, but it seemed kind of roomy for a 24 foot boat😊

Eliminator made so many beautiful boats and the Mohave isn't one of them.

This boats been in our family since 84 when the old owner built the boat for himself. my old man’s dad bought it off of him from the showroom brand new.

A friend of mine had an 84 Eliminator 21ft Mohave, 350 with an Alpha dr. His Dad bought it new from Eliminator. t had the common red fades of the mid 80's That was my first boating experience in the mid 80's. back then it was one of the nicest boats on the lake. He traded it in in the early 2000's for an Essex. I have seen the Eliminator still on the water occasionally in Lake Havasu. It still looks great. name of the boat was Sea N Red.

Even though I was an eliminator owner x2 back in the 80s and early 90s and while I know there is an ass for every seat, the Mojave to me = Fugly. Always kind of reminded me of an AMC Matador. I will say however way back there was one in a jet (all polished) with a big blower motor and it was pretty damn fast so the bottom must be decent

I had a 79 Eliminator 25 Daycruiser in the late 90s. I bought it from a pilot who kept it in his Las Vegas hanger with his plane. It had an old school BBC Gale Banks twin turbo set up. It eventually took a dump and Teague then built a blower motor for it. I loved that boat. Honestly would consider having another.

Pic is from the Havasu Eliminator Regatta back in the day.

There’s one in a driveway around the corner from my parents house rotting away.
It’s painful to see.

Edit...also interesting Carerra Boats was building that same model at the time.
My first trip to Catalina was aboard the Carerra Pro-Am.

Of all models to bring back...that ain't one of 'em.

Bring back a 19' daytona AT A REASONABLE FUCKING PRICE w/ a new 200hp merc on it. I inquired about 10 years ago about a single color gel 19 daytona with a transom to accomodate an outboard....bare hull.... BARE. It was over $25K.

No such thing as a reasonable price anymore.🤣

Call GS Marine.
Greg has the OG 19 molds, and his price is much more reasonable.
I'm no longer in the market, and am actually working on dumping my current boat....but I did speak with them 10 years ago and they were considerably less than 1/2 the price Eliminator wanted. I'm not Bougee enough to be an Eliminator customer I guess....which is fine.
