I just got the highest bill of the year at $202. This is actually the highest bill we have received since moving to Havasu.
Mine is on pace.for over $300.....yup, it's been hot. :cool
That's pretty good w pool and ac
I babysit the fuck out of it. It will probably end up being 350ish. A/c is working much better now. Had Dynamic come out for some work. :thumbsup It's the nights not cooling down that has been killing it. I can keep it under 300 if the night get cooler. I hate when I have to run the a/c all night. :grumble:
1000 Sq ft Crankshaft Manor with a 3 ton split system = $124.
Our most recent bill was $443. But that's for about 6,000 square feet and 4 ac units......
Wow! I'm at 2000 sq ft summer average is 400 easy. (Conservative)
Pool and 1 ac unit.
You're probably somewhere in California, right?
I am in Arizona....
The highest before solar was over 600. With solar it's like 2 bucks
we are on the monthly average plan meaning they average it for the year and send us the same bill every month. Its over 400.00 a month now, and we cant figure out why its gone up so much since we moved in.
2000 sq ft house in Sacramento. 58 bucks.
I hope all you people that have SCE are aligned up for A/C cycling it does save money and I have never had mine triggered off in 20 years.
$170, Huntington Beach, 1540 sqft, waiting for the pool to come online this week... The kids don't know how to turn off a switch of any kind while they are home during the summer!
Then back to Andy @ Palomar Solar... I am just waiting to see how crazy the additional pool cost is, I want to pretty much kill my bill but might be a little lacking on the number of panels I can fit...
Instead of turning it off, turn the set point up. The energy consumption will be much less.My most recent bill was $218. The upstairs is always on. Not necessarily running, but switched on. Downstairs is rare that it gets turned. We have a nice tower fan that puts out a good amount of air.
Our A/C has been cycled off quite a bit already this year. In years prior ... not so much.
We are now turning the air off when no one is upstairs, but will turn it on about an hour before my daughter takes a nap, and about an hour and change before bedtime.
If I work nights, that fucker stays on until I wake up [emoji1]
Joe.....look into the numbers on that (including replacing the batteries every 4 years) and you will likely see that it makes NO financial sense at all.....but then again I would rather pay for a back-up generator at $2500 and always have as much power as I need in a blackoutHaven't got a bill yet for the new house so anxious to see what it is since we don't have solar any more and it seems like my upstairs A/C is always running :grumble:
I am estimating that it will be about $240 - $260
We are looking at paying cash for a few panels with battery back up. It isn't going to completely eliminate the bill by any means, but it will help bring us down into a lower tier. Plus with the battery back up then we can still have power if it ever goes out which is a really nice peace of mind.
That's about what the solar system is monthly
You know some people turn on the lights at night right? :yikes
58 a month is so low its crazy. The average we see every day is closer to 250, looking at a guy close to 1k a month right now. We are the opposite of the average solar contractor, whose average system sold is 14 panels on a lease, last year our average was 38 panels or 11.4kw and 0 leases. Just installed a 70 panel job in Fallbrook, 22.4 kw, he likes AC.
Those of you in SCE territory that have been on the fence, its time to move before you lose the current Net Metering. The new agreement already happened in SDGE and costs our average customer an additional $25 a month, we call it the procrastination tax.
get in touch at www.palomarsolar.com and make sure you say RDP to get my attention and the good guy price. I will personally review every proposal to a RDP referral, I wish I could still do that for every customer, but these days I only see the problem deals. My team does a great job with the cookie cutters.
its about time you and i sit down and talk Solar on my house out here.. lol.
is there some way to measure where the hell on the electricity is going?
