With all the electricians on here figured I would ask.

I tried Walter's electric and they said they could order it but 6-7 month lead time.

I have a job that will be getting solar. What I need is a main panel with meter socket. 200 amp. Flush mount. Overhead feed. With a 200 amp breaker. No other breaker spaces. And small as possible. The load centers will be located elsewhere by the batteries. This goes on front corner of the house.

Seems like this would be commonly used with all the new builds getting solar. They have surface mount in stock for $1730. Which seems crazy high.

I could also use 2. 100 amp exterior flush mount load centers with bottom feed. These they could not get. And the last one I had to use a interior load center with a shanty.

With all the ADUs these would be a in demand product as I need 3 this year alone.

Any leads on where to buy would be appreciated.

Is there enough real estate for a separate meter socket and 200 amp MCB?

Have you tried Ebay? We ran into a similar issue last year and redesigned based on available equipment. I believe we needed a dual 200amp panel, 1 was just a meter socket for the front house and the other was a 200amp for the ADU. Edision said we arent giving you 400amps anyway so we redesigned.

What is there is exactly what I need in 200amp it's only 100 amp. The load center below gets eliminated and a new one goes closer to the solar equipment out of sight.

Maybe I’m overthinking it?

Any semi flush mount 200amp main should work?

Siemens are usually in stock. 14” stud bay opening and you need 40ish inches of vertical space.

You need to use a panel that does not have a split buss as you can only get 100 amps out of the top buss or the bottom buss the only one I know of is over head only panel 👍👍👍👍 good to have you back 👍😀
