Congratulations you made a sale .......................

"Hi Thomas,
Your buyer has paid and now it’s time to create a shipping label.
Ship your item with a tracked service, required in the event of a claim or dispute, within 10 days (the handling time you promised in your listing). Most transactions are covered by seller protections, but this only applies if you use a tracked service.
YOUR FUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE Aug 8
🤣

🤣

Although the buyer has paid, funds are on hold until Aug 8, even if the item is delivered sooner. This gives the buyer time to report any issues. Learn more about payment holds.
Once eBay initiates a payout, funds will be paid directly to your bank account and available per normal bank processing times. Check your payment information for updates."
I'M GOING TO VONS TO BUY A STEAK IMA TELL THEM I'LL PAY IN A MONTH

F that.

Mail me a postal money order then I'll ship it out.

Just another ebay scam, pass.

Something is weird.

After we confirm the buyer's payment has been received, payouts are sent directly to your bank account, Monday through Friday (excluding bank holidays), within two business days. Once a payout is initiated, funds are typically available within 1-3 business days depending on your bank's normal processing time.

Ya Think , 19 years no disputes excellent ratings and reviews .... No they have gotten greedy they are "sitting" on funds to collect interest. Things have gotten worse since thier "divorce" from Paypal

Purple star: 500 feedback points.

Is that little lock up there on the address bar?
Was that an email with a link?
I’d be scanning that address for validity and resetting my password right about now.

Curious if your account is a 'Commercial' account.
The reason I ask is because of a Vintage M/C parts guy I know told E-bay to kiss off last year.
Didn't know all the reasons, this could be one of them.
And he too, had been with them for years...

Yes, and it has been for 19 years since eBay and PayPal split the sheets things become weird about a year ago. We had to start an extra and different bank account strictly for eBay so that they could deposit and if they wanted to I suppose pull money from that account in case of a dispute, it’s a pain in the ass. It was much simpler when everything went through PayPal.

Yea, it definitely sucks. I’ve had my account since 1999 with over 1750 positive feed backs and a perfect 100% record. Over $250,000 in transactions. Sold my Tundra last year on eBay and they held the $500 deposit for well over a month. Fk them.

I honestly think I figured it out (lightbulb) I just texted my son this ……Hey, you’re gonna love this so I sold the rail kit yesterday customer paid for it. eBay told me congratulations you sold a rail kit yada yada and then they sent an email that says something to the effect that your funds might be held for Until August 8, that’s 30 days when I called them they had no valid reason they said that’s “their policy” . I think they’re trying to create an Amazon return policy to keep control of your money until they think that the customers receive the parts Rt and they are satisfied with it ? or they’re trying to minimize that risk to make clawing back or refunding simpler

That happens until you have enough sales and become a trusted seller. Once you get enough sales without any issues, they issue the payment fast. I get paid out the day after they pay. They give me 3 days to ship, so sometimes I I’m paid before I even ship it. I’ve sold a ton of sports cards on eBay. I usually list 30ish auctions at a time so I can ship them all at once.

MeCasa, can you give me advice on how to value my collection? Its mostly from when I was a kid mid 80’s Junk Card era.

I just dont want to throw them away. Been carrying em with me for 40+ years!

Sure. Are they all baseball or do you have any other sports? How are they currently being stored? There aren’t that many 80’s cards that are super valuable unless it’s a Michael Jordan cards. Especially the 86 fleer rookie card. Most of the cards from that set are pretty valuable.
