Like it or not, our country is a democratic republic, which has an electoral college for presidential elections. That’s how our founding fathers created it. NO. I don’t believe that should be changed.

We completed our early voting ballots at home. Then hand carried them to the LHC library and deposited them into that ballot box. Yes, I believe the US Postal Carriers Union has come out in favor of a particular candidate. That bothers me. That means for many those postal carriers play a role in the election process. No Thanks. We’ll Handle our own ballots. In AZ you can check the status of your early ballot on line. My wife’s immediately said “Accepted”, mine said “Received”. Called the Election Office in Kingman. They told me that indicated my ballot was still being processed, (signature verification ?). Don’t know. I do know my wife’s signature is significantly more legible than mine. A follow up status check showed my ballot as “Accepted”. Seems in past elections the status never did show as “Counted”. That would be beneficial and logical info.

The polls are getting better for Trump by the day. Good news, bad news. The Libs will pull out al stops prior to Election Day to turn shit around. The next 8 days are going to be filled with some “Breaking News”.

Just dropped off our ballots… at a Mitsubishi dealership 🤔

Hopefully they can’t tell who I voted for 👍

Already voted by mail here in Florida. Used the USPS too.

But let’s be real……… Here in Florida, our vote for President does not count. The Presidential election is only for the 6 swing states. Only those states will decide who becomes President. You can thank the electoral process for this.

I believe we should do away with the electoral college. The person with the most votes wins. Doesn't that sound fair?
So, you fancy yourself smarter than the founding Fathers?

This concerned me too...

Why can't I see who I actually voted for???

The explanation is...

Votes are 100 percent anonymous. Even if you vote in person, they only check you in at the door. Your ballot has no link back to you.

I suppose that's how it should be.

… The judge came by today… A very conservative judge I might add… And brought a sample ballot… Which he had marked as how he voted… I’m going to go over it… And then go over it with Neighbor girl… The judge voted today… And said it wasn’t very crowded in his district… Now I just have to find out where the early voting place is in my district🤷🏽‍♀️… Don’t know if Neighbor girl is going to be allowed to bring her three month old into the polling place… Baby daddy is working and can’t babysit🤷🏽‍♀️

I will be voting early, and dropping my ballot off at the county registrar of voters office. I have always voted in person on election day. I'm taking no chances on long lines or something coming up where I can't make it on election day.

So the last two elections I have voted by mail and about a month after the election I received a letter stating my vote didn't count because my signature didn't match the signature they had on file. This time I noticed our polls opened on the 26th so my family drove down and we did it in person. However, I mentioned it to the polling people what had happened the last two elections and they had me fill out a fresh ballot and I personally put my ballot into the soft box. The ballot itself didn't have any reference to me so I feel as though my vote will finally be counted. I'm in California and technically my vote doesn't count because I'm conservative and there is no competing with the amount of ignorance in my area. My wife is in medical and she tells me about the lunch room banter about politics...it is downright scary the thought process of some of these people. Best thing that could happen would be for news and social media to be shut off eliminating public opinion. If people were forced to choose a side based on a candidate's abilities and not the hours on end of opinion through all avenues of media, I think it would be more of a level playing field.

Went to the Voting Booth at the YMCA near my pad and voted last night. I don't trust sending my vote in the mail! Then again, I don't trust entering my vote electronically, but I still did it

Without the electoral college we would be a one party country forever. Republicans would be fucked.

Early voting ended last night in Idaho. My wife waited just shy of two hours to vote yesterday afternoon. Most polling locations throughout the valley have seen two hours lines for the past week. Pretty wild.

Trump needs the popular vote. Every vote counts . . . even if you're in a deep blue state.
Ohh, I voted, but I feel like the election polls are skewed. Harris is supposed to be up in the early vote. I just don't believe it. I have not seen or heard one person be excited about Harris.
