Those were the days I decided I had to have a first Gen Camaro. Originally wanted a '69 Camaro,
but ended up buying this '67 instead from a friend that had too sell it back in 1977. Was red w black stripes.
Still have it but gone from Pro Street to Pro Touring over the years. 620 HP LS3 by Mast Motorsports in TX
Try to drive it every couple of weeks.

Some people shouldn't have nice things. That is truly sad, the motor didn't hurt anyone.Bob Sebring of Torrance Service Center had one of Don's aluminum block cammers down there. Some crackhead dentist had it in a supergas T-bird and forgot to shift the powerglide form 1st to 2nd. Went through the lights beyond the Autometer tachs capabilities. It came apart in a splended fashion. The head was in two pieces. He finally got it back together and now the dentist's son is putting it in a street fairlane I believe it was.

It was a Z28 clone with 12.5:1 302, Muncie 4 speed with Hurst Super Shifter and a line Loc with a 4.56 12 bolt rear
and crappy 4 wheel drum brakes that almost killed me on multiple occasions. I paid $2,500 in '77
Every time I drive it these days, it brings back those memories of cruising thru the local drive thru food joints of the day.
Kinda American Graffiti-ish. Only us old farts remember those days
Here's a few of the early project pics. what was going to be a 4 wheel disk brake upgrade project and turned into.....FUCK IT....LETS DO THE WHOLE CAR
Bones will appreciate the amount of work and time it takes to go from stripping paint to the LA Roadster Show. I wasn't in the show, just a display in Mark Lopez's booth next to his '55 which won Best of Show for interior that year.

Looks cool Tom, very cool You do good at keeping your rides/boats and not selling them, wish I had done the same, like my 63 Plymouth 426 I bought new back in the day or my 67 Shelby 427 Side Oiler for 2 of them but hey they were fun huh?
