Duramax repair shop..diesel power house- norco

Anybody familiar with this shop? Anybody have experience with their services? My 2004 LB7 needs some help.

Not familiar with that shop but avoid OC Diesel. Just took my lly duramax to him. Not happy.

They did ball joints and brakes on my 02 F350 years ago. Did a good job. I was following the mechanic though. Matt is his name. Shortly after Matt went to Domestic and I followed him to there and then kept going there until I moved.

Yes, Roger (who runs the place) is a fantastic person and he stands behind his work. They only use factory or high quality aftermarket parts. He may have a 1 or 2 week wait to get in but it's worth it. We send people his way when it's something my shop can't handle.

Some bad of course but good ones around too.

Jus' sayin':
We were told our 2021 needed a new trans, and second opinion Findley in Bullhead fixed it for $120.
"We sell more Dmaxs and Allisons than anyone and never had to replace an Allison trans." - Service manager.

Friends had a recuring DMAX headache with independent diesel shops then finally took it in to Findley and they finally fixed their DMaxs issue.

If I recall, I called domestic and they didn’t want to work on a Dmax. That was the impression I got.

Domestic is pretty much a ford only shop these days. They will work on dmax but they only have one dmax mechanic and he is not there everyday. They have straight told me they wont work on my cummins, they will do service on it but not repairs.

What shop do you work at?
Can you help me understand who Travis is and his role there? I've talked to him a couple times on the phone. I waited 2 weeks to get my truck in there. I drop my truck off there yesterday. Roger was out, the mechanic helped me, I ask for Travis and the mechanic says he doesn't work there. Now I'm thinking wtf is going on here? I went ahead and left my truck but not a good feeling right now. I appreciate your response here. At the moment I feel a bit deceived.

Aaron is the best. If it's an LB7 it's usually the injectors. They seem to need to be replaced about every 90k miles. If you have a lift pump, they will last longer.

He did my lb7 injectors. Only shop that seemed like they knew what they were doing and didn’t want to take me for a ride.

My shop is Norco Automotive, I don't think there is a travis there. I just know Roger and his 2 techs. Tell him Bryan or Robert sent you.

What exactly do you need done? We try to stay away from any major diesel repairs., but we always have ways of getting things done.

Perfect timing on this thread. I do all my own work but don’t have the time right now. I have an issue in my front end I need to have diagnosed and repaired, and it’s a ford, so looks like I’ll be calling domestic. Will try diesel power house too.

Domestic Diesel does work on Dmax and have some great techs. I have seen plenty of dmax there getting a huge range of repairs.

Diesel specialists. Took care of the fallout from a lml cp4 explosion, were fair, work was on time. No complaints.

My bad, they are in Rancho, around the corner from the DMV on 9th.

Replace with injectors that have SAC nozzles like all the modern stuff has and they won't leak like the VCO style OEM ones

that kinda of issue i would just take it to socal super trucks in San Bernardino.

I used to take my Duramax to Domestic Diesel in Chino, but I didn’t like their attitude - it’s like they had their favorite customers and they let me know that I wasn’t one of them. I then switched to All-Time in Glendora based off a recommendation from here on RDP and had great luck over there. I still continue to go there for maintenance on my Raptor and CTS V.

Most shops around here that I have talked with will only use oem injectors and won't use parts the customer supplies. Gotta get that markup and repeat business when the oem stuff shits the bed ya know........planned obsolescence is good for business dontcha know.
