Dumb question - how do I grease these wheel bearings?

Picked up a used Ultra 21 on an extreme trailer and wondering how to grease these wheel bearings? The center caps don’t come off like I’m used to seeing on bearing buddy style.

Thanks,

Chris

The “Window” is cloudy. You can convert these to “packed” bearing buddies if you care to …

Thanks for all the help. I’ll dig into it tomorrow. Makes sense now…I do have some oil splatter on one wheel, I’ll check seals on all. Might swap to BB since that’s what I’m used to. Also we only tow it home and back once a year, it stays out in Parker most of the year, so just short ramp to storage trips. Here’s the boat. Thanks again.

Remove wheel, you’ll see a 3/16 set screw, remove and fill with drive fluid. Works great and is typically right there on the boat.
Next time you do a service on the trailer pop them off, pack bearings with grease, and then swap to BB’s and do away with the oil bath.

I have oil hubs and like them .
The last boat had grease hubs - what a pain.
Alway grease blowing out . Maybe I over greased them .

Thanks guys, exactly what you said it was. Oil bath hubs. Pulled the plug, drained the oil, it looked new, like it was recently serviced, so I filled them back up and sealed them back up. In hind sight, I think the previous owner told me he had them serviced recently but it was good piece of mind to see for myself. Thanks again.

Nice Boat! Bitchen swim platform.
Thanks, Josh with Swim Platforms in Havasu built it. He does great work…not cheap but quality craftsmanship and makes the boat so much more user friendly for getting skis/wakeboards on. Plus it’s great for hanging out around the back of the boat.

Pull a rotor and make sure you can get a bearing buddy to fit prior to committing. Seems like we were throwing the conversion hubs and rotors in the scrap box due to this. If they come in on ufp torsions, we replace the entire assembly with hybrid units. Let us know what ya decide
