From what I can tell in the comments, the guy in the red shirt crawled into the boat of the shooter, going after the shooter's brother, after the altercation started on the sand and the brother moving into the boat. To me, and probably FL law, a vessel is the same as a car / home and you can protect it and those who are on it.
