I had this driverless car passed me last night while rolling through Vegas. I have never seen one before and didn’t know. We actually have them working on the road yet. Anybody ever see this yet? I have moved stuff like that for the military but that’s different.

My son uses them all the time in Austin. They have some glitches but he hasn’t had any issues.

That company has their Vegas office right down the street from my office and they are annoying AF! They do testing all the time clogging the street, multiple vehicles just stopping in the middle of the lane, driving super slow, etc.

I’m guessing within 5 years driverless cars will put all the Uber and Lyft Drivers out of work. I’m not sure that’s actual progress?

Crazy. I had no idea it was a thing already. I’ll continue to hire rides with drivers! 😳

I hate them. They do something stupid and piss me off and then I get up next to them and there’s nobody to flip off or yell at. Now I’ve got all this pent-up anger and nowhere for it to go.😂

I use them in Arizona. I won’t use Uber/lift unless I have too. I prefer a car that follows all the rules, doesn’t speed or weave in and out of traffic. People are the problem when it comes to driving.

Waymo has jaguar suvs and you control the AC, radio and windows.

Bonus is no tip!

You do have a point. I have literally told so many drivers to slow down and stop driving like a fucking idiot.

Uber drivers are worse than taxi drivers in Vegas.

I passed a Waymo car yesterday and did some research to figure out what the hell I'd just seen. Once I figured out what it was, I wasnt so sure that Id get into one, but reading your comment has me thinking twice. A safer driving car on the streets isnt such a bad idea. Also, no weirdos to deal with while you catch a ride. Pretty cool

Talk to just about any women who uses ride share solo or on business solo and they almost all prefer it, especially once they tried it…. Statistically there is no comparison on safety and you are fully under big brothers watchful eye with cameras everywhere on them. I know people have “feelings” about them but I abandoned most of my feelings about most everything years ago! lol

My guess is people do more dangerous things several times a day than let a computer drive a car. But to each their own, less wait times for me!

Here’s a video of it leaving my house!

A guy I don’t like sent me a video of one a couple days ago. I was surprised this was actually a thing at this point. Last ride I took in a car like this was in Vegas, it had two operators in the front seat and they would take over quite often. It was far from self driving.

Waymo in PHX. Fuck Uber and all their BS fees. These grab me, don’t smell like a fat foreigner listening to Jaha music who is a worse driver than my wife. Used them twice Wednesday night.

Uber rant…. They are pushing their “book ahead” service. Tuesday night I setup my Wednesday AM, 6 mile ride to the airport….. $26 fucking dollar booking fee!

If I need ride share I try and use a traditional cab before Uber.

Yeah, when I get to work most mornings there will be 4 or 5 Waymo cars lined up down the street waiting to be used. 11th st/Van Buren area. All over downtown PHX.

There is a driverless car company called Cruise operating in Texas, they supposedly suspended their operations due to complaints and/or issues the cars were having... blocking intersections, jamming up traffic, close calls, etc... the comments were hilarious on the Austin and Houston news pages when it was happening, lol

So when these things get low on juice, they drive in to a yard and some robot charges them?

Remember when Uber first came out and it was reasonable pricing, tipping was forbidden, they only had super nice brand new black suburbans, and the drivers were cool? Then it got super popular and now you are riding in some ladies' Camry and getting clonked by fees and shaken down for a tip on top....

Enjoy Wayno while it lasts, it will turn into that soon enough 🤣🤣
