I believe down towards Blythe there might be some spots check with the fish and game and they might be able to tell you where you can

There is a bunch in blythe and Ehrenberg. Looking for options closer to Pirates cove, havasu, fort mohave. If that exists.

I've hunted around Mohave valley the last 5 years or so and for the exception of last year have done really well.

There was a lot of birds in town just picked a shitty spot I guess.

I have done the dove season opener at Havasu Landing. No state hunting license needed. We went into the marina store and bought a reservation hunting license. We hunted two mornings and limited easily. Grab breakfast at the market after the hunt, take a nap and went boating the rest of the day.

I was told the area around Havasu Landing is HUGE for dove hunting, I ran into some guys that do an annual trip from Tennessee, they say its the best. I have no hunting knowledge...

All I can say is have some common since when hunting. If you show up to a spot and someone else beats you there move down and don't hunt right on top of them. Remember there is no dove worth shooting low when there are other hunters in the same field. Make sure to pick up your trash so the farmers don't post no trespassing signs.

That would be a good location. I have a few friends over there.

The 1st time was just my Cousin and I and there used to be a dairy farm across the River that held what had to be over 1000 Eurasians. It rained and stormed the night before the opener so we thought it would be horrible. It was the best hunting we've ever had, and I grew up hunting in Blyth where my fam is from and did the Yuma hunts for a couple of years. With the No limit we finally just gave up and cleaned them.

Ever since then we've done dam good but I always try and scout a few spots a when I am coming back from Havasu and then go out a day or 2 before the 1st and hone in a couple of prime spots.

I'm definitely interested in the Havasu Landing area or places closer to Havasu as well. Maybe not for the opener but the after would be cool.

Good info.

Just like the river, pack it in and pack it out. I hate when people leave shit everywhere. We are not guaranteed a place to hunt and I don't want to give anyone a reason to kick me out. Also if you pick up all your Shells no other hunter will come by and think the spot is great and take it lol.

I'll tell people the city I hunt in but unless I know you I won't tell you the exact spots lol.

I've actually hunted Dove right across the river from Willow Valley Marina. Been a long time, but beached the boat hiked up into some cover and they were coming in and out of roost in the trees there.
