So I've seen this lady down at the beach before, and I think I saw her featured on the morning news or something like that.
But never really up close & personal.
Tide was super low last night and I saw them coming . . . . so I had/ kept my dog on the leash and gave them plenty of space to not F with their program.

(Sorry about the crappy phone pics)

But this is about as cool as it gets . . .

A full 'Fleet' of them !!!

You can tell they absolutely LOVE it down there . . .

There was 6 of therm . . . I heard her talking to this lady saying, "I've got more at home, but I can only fit 6 in the car".

That's gotta be a lot of work setting up each individual Rickshaw (or whatever they're called) !!!

The lady is super cool, and as the dogs wheeled around her, she would say to them, "Oh I know, it's the best day ever" !!!!

There ARE still good people in this world.

Totally . . . In the news clip I saw of her . . . she has a bunch of them at home . . . it's a trip seeing them pull themselves around on the tile floor w/o the cart.
What she is doing comes with the deal of.....what difference does it make if I take on one more at this point? There is a point where it crosses over into a negative but you can't question her heart is in the right place. Assuming it is all out of pure intentions.

I think it’s kind of mean to strap those poor dogs into rickshaws like that. And I’m not joking, because somebody needs to tell me where she finds that many disabled dogs that their owners have given up on.

@BabyRay . . . I don't know that much about it.

But from my recent experience with a 'Labrador Rescue', there is no shortage of dogs that are turned in.
For example, the Lab Rescue where we got ours, normally has around 25 labs available for adoption at any given time, currently they have 34 available, and only 5 are 'Lab-Mixes'.
That's about 85% pure breeds . . . and usually it's closer 90-95% pure breeds.
That's just 1 Rescue for 1 breed, based out of San Diego, and they 'generally' get their dogs from that area, or the 'surrounding' areas.

So for a single rescue org. to have that many dogs of 1 specific breed, I can only imagine the number of 'mutts' that are turned-in from SD to LA county.

Thats really cool to see!

~18 years ago or so I had an aging Pit Bull and he was an awesome dog but as he got older, he lost the use of his hind legs. We ended up having to put him down because he couldn't walk and would drag his hind legs and scrape up his underside. If these rickshaws were around more back then he would have probably been managable for a bit longer.
