Looking for some last minute recommendations in the LA area. Specifically wanting to board from Saturday morning to Sunday morning.

Short story is I'm considering pulling an audible and bringing Hitch over to Cali this weekend but can't have him with me Saturday. Shots up to date but is not neutered which looks to be a difficult hurdle to overcome.

GSD / Belgian Malinois / Husky mix @ just over 60lbs. Turns two next week!

Petco in the Long Beach Towne center used to board dogs and cats. We used them when we went racing. We had a Husky.

Curious to know rough pricing from those who have done this with someone they would recommend such as petco or another company that is in other areas. (Santa Clarita in my
Case)Sometimes it is hard to find people to dog sit or just come a few times a day feed and walk our golden.

When available i use a neighbor teenager. For morning feed and walk. Noonish walk and evening feed and walk. Sometimes they
Even get to use the pool and just hang out. Paying 40 a day
Am I close or cheap or damn dude to feed your dog Lol.

The petsmart Sepulveda in Torrance does. Not sure requirements. Most dog boarding spots here want all vaccinations records. Including dog flu.

I have a yard here that is empty but not secure enough yet. Old fence on another side is iffy. My Shepherds stay here during the day but I don't trust it over night. Working on the block walls currently. So it will be block all around.

Try Rover, haven't used it yet but seems to be quite a few really good people on it for boarding.

Our dog is 8 months and Petco town center was fine with her not being spaded, went and checked out the place, not too bad. We were using go fetch in LBC but when she hit 6 months and they wouldn't let her come in not fixed.

Or look for a VCA vet clinic. A lot of them do boarding

I use Rover when dog sitters are needed.

You also might check with your vet, I know at mine a bunch of the techs will pet sit as a side gig. $40/night is pretty much average these days.

Edit... I see the OP is traveling and needs a sitter, so the vet dealio is probably out... LOL

Whenever I need to drop my boy off, I use South Park Doggie next to LAX.

He knows when he's pulling up and get so F'n excited to hang with his buddies

You need all the shots and the people there have to make sure your pup is good with all the other dogs.

we've had good luck with Rover.com. The Uber of pet sitting.
