I made this an anonymous poll so people can offer their opinion without their privacy being violated, if they don't wish to openly share their opinion. :cool

Of course he does. Just saw Pete Rose in Vegas last week. The guy looked miserable. It was obvious to me that God had fucked up his life because he bet on the outcome of a game that only god could control;):cool

According to every sports bar on earth, god only controls half of each game. One team scores and "God Dammit" erupts from half of the bar. The other team scores, and the other half of the bar is blaming god...

God decides when your preferred team is losing. When your team is winning, it is because they are simply better:D

God hates losers.

For every winner who thanks god for the victory, there's a loser who's family is plagued by locusts.

If God does dabble in sports, who do you think he's picking for Sunday's game???? I'd like to throw a wager at one of the local casino's. Seems like a no brainer if the fix is in.

He who comes from above is above all......john 3;31

even if I bear witness of myself,my witness is true;for

i know where i came from, and where

i am going;but you do not.. (Jesus) john 8;14

Steve how can you claim die hard Christian values and then blast fuckers every other post. Jesus also said "Turn the other cheek" and you are always "Lets hook up in the parking lot after school" :D Make up your mind.

In a casino you mean it

Ain't that the damned truth!!

David Bowie has a song from the Space Oddity album called "God knows I'm good" that addresses this very hypocrisy.
It tells of an old lady, poor and hungry, asking God to look the other way while she attempts to steal some food from a market.
Then how She asks for his help after being caught.

Tom,

Sometime back, RDP took religion out, and replaced it with it with government; Politcs& Government. Not sure of the intent, but it happened.

If I could suggest, exchanging the word "God" with "RiverDave" ? ;)

I don't judge you fuc head, .... I know for sure I fall short...I'm judged by a higher power... thats the problem with non believers, they expect christians to all be like jesus...we're all sinners...

it's kinda like speeding, everybody does it....but Jesus pAID the ticket for the christians...

god is real, i've had a out of body..god takes good care of me... for that I'm great full...sure , I back slide and stumble... but god picks me up, dusts me off and puts me back in the game,,,..

but as Jesus said," WHY WORRY ABOUT THE SPEC IN SOMEONE ELSE'S EYE, WHEN YOU HAVE A LOG IN YOUR OWN??"

BUT THANKS FOR CARING ENOUGH TO PUBLIC SLAM ME ...MUST OF BEEN THE DAY YOU GOT UP BEFORE NOON...LMFAO...

AND GIVE A HUG TO YOUR WIFE AND KIDS FOR ME, TRUE GIFTS FROM GOD RIGHT THERE!!

I LOVE YOU DAVE AND HOPE YOU COME TO KNOW THE LORD......YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PURFECT, JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE....:cool

I find your post EXTREMELY condescending, and over the top insulting.
I can't speak for RD, nor should I, but as far as for this non-Christian you can save your prayers for yourself.

Really? You just called me a "non-beleiver" because I am not a Christian??

Typical Religious hypocrisy.
This is why I will NEVER allow religion to dilute my Faith.

I had typed a lot more than this, regarding the upside down statement about Jesus paying the ticket for "Christians".
But I deleted it as I really don't know you at all.

In the words of another great ascended master "When our brothers experience the change called death, and we greet them in the spiritual plane, they require comforting and understanding, as they will be confused at what they are experiencing. Especially our Christian Brothers, as a lifetime of belief will be questioned in an instant"....

It pains me to see just how far Jesus' actions have been twisted to suit mans will and agendas.
He told us not to fear, SHOWED us there is nothing to fear, yet still religion uses fear itself to herd the masses.
Surely..Jesus weeps.

Humans judging Humans....like fleas fighting over a dog.

And as far as using Jesus, and Christians....Could you substitute Jesus with "JBB", and Christians with "RDP People", and "TBI" as Religion?

I'll tell you how.
Church on Sunday, rob your business partner on Monday, cheat a client on Tuesday, back to church Wednesday, bang the mistress on Thursday, Get drunk and slap the wife on Friday, recover on Saturday, Church on Sunday...repeat.

I know that many very good Church going people do NOT act that way, and I certainly do not mean to apply it to all.

But even they know people at their Churches that do act that way.

In a nutshell, religion has nothing to do with moral fiber.
You either have it or you do not have it.
My Church going friends will agree with that, I'm pretty sure.

And religion has nothing to do with God the Father, as far as I am concerned.

Hey!, I am also guilty of judging and insulting, to be sure!:p:p
But I don't pretend to be something I am not.

i do what I do when I fuc'n feel like it, don't really give a fly'n fuck about the good words ,bad words, or the whole english language, fuc spelling . fuc gramer, and fuc all the fuc'n haters,,.

and you my friend can go try sav'n and preach'n to some one else cause I anit change what works so well for me to please you..

I like rum , pussy, and fried chicken,,,and I don't like you:cool;)

Awesome!!

But you may have misjudged my posts.
I am not very good at putting thought to text most times.
I also could give 2 flying fucks about what any one believes or if they agree with Me or not.

I just get riled up when motherfuckers feel the need to pray for me, or us so called "non-beleivers" (your' very words) because we are not "Christians".
That is the ONE problem I have with holier than thou Christians.
That does piss me off.

Hell, even My friend Doc does not judge me like that.

So if we can agree that we are all assholes in our own way, we will get along just fine!!

I hope you go to Hell, Steve. That's not to say I wish anything bad happens to you. I don't. ... but it would be nice to have someone there who will sell me a nice, reconditioned, air conditioning system.

The way you conduct yourself around here Steve, you invite confrontation. It would be rude not to accept it.

That's the good thing about you Tom! You KNOW what is coming and revel in it!!:thumbsup:thumbsup

But then again, that goes right back to hypocrisy. I don't think you have any, to be honest.
You stir shit and make no qualms about it, and if you DO play the victim, it is only to further agitate the situation....:thumbsup:thumbsup:D

Kudos Sir!:) <yellow smiley
