Nowadays, every Dodger fan is handed a card at entry gate with a number to text if someone is being an arse. U/C retired and active LAPD officers work EVERY game and will go down and witness activity, then eject the idiots. Dodgers are only MLB team to run U/C officers at Every game. MLB only requires U/C officers at opening day and playoff games nationwide. Security cameras cover every seat in the stadium and dispatch center is run by current LAPD senior dispatchers making extra cash. Dodgers have their own Motorola radio system with 18 channels for every employee. Management is serious about making it less ghetto and a more civil experience.
Most arrests nowadays are drunk wives/girlfriends beating up on their guys...true story lol.

I don’t know how dodger security is right now but back in the day in the 1980s I worked on and off for them including two World Series one with the Yankees.

It was 100% LAPD off duty and I think the sergeant that was in charge of security was retired out of rampart that very well oiled machine with quality people making extra cash. Everybody was in soft clothes no uniforms at that time they just had the ushers and it was a problem we come up identify ourselves with an usher and eject people but most everyone left o their own accord. We did confiscate a lot of fake tickets, and scalpers .

The sports arena was run the same way everybody off-duty plainclothes although they did have some uniforms assigned now and then the bigger issue was always the Colosseum that has a small plainclothes detail but most everybody is in uniform many of them off duty and it’s a fixed wage set by city Council.

I work probably 30 concerts between both venues all plainclothes looking for scalpers illegal clothing items things of this nature it was great work with talented people. I was backstage face-to-face as a sergeant, with many people from Mick Jagger to Dick Clark many times. Great Memories.
