Do you think about your family reading your RDP posts? Kids, maybe?

I don't have children but, if I did, I'd probably have to dial back my game about 10 notches. I try to be a good person but I'm aware some of what I write is pretty out there.

These days, the digital legacy is going to follow us for the rest of our lives. Even if/when RDP goes dark, these posts will be archived elsewhere and will undoubtedly persist for generations.

Do you worry about what you write? Should you worry about what you write? Am I going to have to explain Old Gregg in a job interview one day soon?

Every post, email, text and for that matter anything I say I figure could come back at some point.

Make an assessment.

I post in a fashion that would not disrespect or embarrass my wife and family.

I'm not worried at all.
People in general have such a low opinion of me that I really have no where to go but up.:thumbsup

You married types with kids may be, but I'm not. Only thing that I think about is the passed out drunk pics of myself. You never know if a potential employer is in the boards . I'd hate for those pics to surface and effect a possible job opportunity.

Family friend:
Has a great career, great company.
Opportunity for a huge advancement comes up at another company, she goes thru the process.
Offer denied due to her MLM agenda on Facebook.

Would a potential employer find "hammer" linked to you to rdp, probably not, but don't downplay a corp with a nicely outfitted IT dept.

I recall when you invited me to that Amway party. A few chips, some diet sodas, I signed on below you in the ponzi tree, and we've been best friends ever since. Who would have thought buying a set of spark plugs for an AMC Matador wagon could lead to this. :cool

No one in my family, my wife or any of my friends would be shocked at anything I post. They'd read it and say...yep..that's our boy! Maybe with a smile and a laugh...maybe with a frown and a grimace....but they all know I could care less about what anyone thinks.

As far as it hampering any options that were to come my way, I'd laugh and say "Have you met me?" :D

I'm one of those people you love or hate instantly.:thumbsup

Brown, half the shit I write on here is strictly for posterity's sake, I really hope my great great grand children will be able to look at all this and get some insight to who I was.

Note to my future generations reading this way down the road:

First your welcome for the superb DNA, I cannot take full responsibility on that one because your Great Great Grandma had it going on also. Be good humans, have integrity in your life and everything you do, please try to make a positive significant difference in the world and try not to spend all that money I left you on hookers and blow:D

That wasn't an Amway party and the doc you signed was your application to the black panthers. You never got you're patch?

I received one PM regarding the post in question.

They must have made you feel worse than the guy at the China Buffett who had to clean up after RD.

I don't worry about my family reading what I post, nor do I particularly worry about anyone who might run accross what I post. I tend to be a bit conservative in what I do post, and try to show respect for all parties. I have three daughters and a wife, and that is all of the drama that I can really deal with. I come here for some light hearted enjoyment, and sometimes get a kick about how far over the top so many people will go in what they do post.:D

I just post what I would say if those people were standing in front of me. Maybe I'm a loner on this one, but my interwebz personality is the same as my street/river personality. Then again, I'm not much into stirring the shit and getting a rise out of people as some of the people are on here.

Actually Keith, I type about as fast as I would normally talk.. So I generally type exactly what would I would say to someone standing in front of me. It's only when I'm writing some important e-mail for business, or a letter, or calming some inmate down on an issue that I slow down and take my time and actually "write" something that is important.
