Lake Havasu City is officially the #1 most aggressively drinking city in Arizona. 🥂🍹 Are we surprised? Nope. With a bar-to-boat ratio rivaling our lakefront sunsets, we’ve been training for this our whole lives. Cheers to being #1! 🍻

It’s been a great place for old people to go drink themselves to death for a very long time now.👍

I think alot of places on that map are not places people chose to be, but are just there and dealing with it LOL

Not sure this is something I would brag about.
The list is long of folks I know who moved to Havasu as casual drinkers and became drunks.

I would be interested to see which city leads the way in DUI cases as well.
If you live in the drunken city, but don’t lead in DUI’s, that has to make you wonder how many drunks are on the road.

Just another reason my vacation home has 6 wheels and the RV lots I am looking at purchasing are not in AZ.

I would have thought Alaska would be the winner. Dark all winter, cold as all get-out, and not much entertainment. The dry villages must tilt the numbers.

The widwest, Northern suburbs of Illinois and into Wisconsin wins this hands down as far as the entire country goes.

Just for clarity since people keep mentioning states, this is the drunkest city in each state, not the drunkest state. But yes, Wisconsin would definitely be in the running for the drunkest state.

I think Havasu's numbers are low.... I don't see Havasuians as the type to respond to polls...they are too busy drinking!

Appears to be averages of the states. Here at GLOC and at LOTO, drinking is mandatory the entire year. During the Summer season it's probably 60% of us are drunks. :p

With one of our nicknames being “Havabrew” would you expect anything less?

I would never put a dollar on Bay City?? That is a odd one. I do not believe I ever drank a beer in Bay City. Drank a lot of beer all over the state.
Party on the river, and bay. There isn't a weekend where there isn't so e form of event going on
