My kids are 8 & 10 and they have never once eaten at McDonalds and same for most of the rest of fast food places. I don’t think I have in 15+ years.
We tried Carl’s jr. not too long ago, other than the onion rings it was gross.

I have my kids 50/50.

On my off weeks I ate a lot of fast food. When it’s just you it doesn’t or at least didn’t make sense to do much cooking. When I have the kids we do mostly home cooked food

Over the past couple years most fast food has gone to crap while the prices have gone through the roof. I can’t remember the last time a Taco Bell got my order right.

I’ve cut way back on Fast food. It’s something I primarily only do if I’m out and about and need a quick bite to eat and in those instances I’m really selective about where I go. These days I do a lot more individual frozen meals from the grocery store when I’m on my off weeks, I also cook a lot more meals that can be broken down and I can eat the left overs for a couple days.

All fast food tastes like crap to me. Its not very palatable to me. So I don’t eat it.

Then there are the times we are traveling with the kids and everyone is hungry including me. So I would choke down some Chik Fil A or In and Out

NOW I just tell my low blood sugar self to go fuck itself cuz we are not eating that poison. Finally we agreed just to go hungry since we are better off.

I could lose a few pounds anyway. Lol

Now in comes old age and high blood pressure. You ever see how much sodium is in fast food? Too much. So now I can’t eat it

Im in the same situation, I cook for the kids every night that they are with me and try to save a little leftovers for me on the following week. If I go out, its for a burrito or burger or because a friend says lets go get dinner.
