Decided to bring the boat home from the river for March and take care of a growing list of items needing TLC. Since I'm bringing it back to my garage, I figured I'd put on my man pants and service it myself this year.
Amazon Prime just showed up with all the goodies......$111.00 shipped to my door for all the supplies
-the 5 quart jugs of Castrol 20/50 are a killer deal @ $15 each!
10 quarts of GTX 20-50 $30
2 quarts of VP synthetic drive oil $38
Impeller and O-ring kit $30
Water / fuel separator filter $7
Engine oil filter $6
Also went ahead and bought a new oil extractor pump, this one was $47 and had real good reviews. My merc hand pump was toast from years of abuse.
Looking forward to wrenching on the boat myself, and knocking out some much needed TLC items.
