I dropped it off at his shop and he was supposed to take it to his storage

Another inmate that doesn't post much who is a good friend of mine was done dirty. After another inmate talked to Tim he made it right. Hopefully your boat gets detailed before you see it next. Several on here that can make that call for you. Sucks but that seems to be how several shops operate in Parker.

I know several that have always been treated right several that have had issues.

Like I said I don't remember what you wrote Brian.. I read like 5-600 posts a day. I just remember something like "Fuck him, fuck him, I want him dead" type shit.. LOL I also don't remember any actual details (I know shocker right? LOL) being shared.

Lol. No he didn't. But his secretary did say "I know it probably won't make you feel any better but at least no one stole it"

Wonder if it was his Niece. She bartends every now and again at our park bar. She is cool I have drank to much and gave her shit a few times. Typical Parker.

I dont think in today's day and age wishing someone dead in public is very prudent. I have doubts those statements are correct sir.

Yeah I dunno.. It was a long time ago and I don't remember the details.

With all those bury a body buddies though.. One would assume sooner or later you are gonna dig some kinda hole? :D

Anyhow on the Dirty Deeds thing. As said earlier he has always done well by me, and I have referred people to him for detailing etc down in Parker. For Merc problems / stuff I would always go to a larger shop in Havi. For custom stuff in Parker I'd goto Ron at bad attitude.

My family has used Tim for years and we still do. We don't store our stuff with him as we have a large storage right by our house so I can't speak about his storage offerings. He's always done right by us. Over the years there have been a few issues but he's always made things right. I have literally had Tim do
Everything from boat related detailing/service to overseeing construction projects around the house. Sorry to hear you weren't happy. I'm going to text this thread to him. He doesn't post on here though.

That's a good idea . If the interaction with the unhappy customers at the time didn't wake him up, maybe seeing people converse online negatively about his buisness will help him turn it around . He was always pleasant but just did poor quality work or failed to do the job at all for me and my neighbor .

Lake ain't deep enough and hardly expansive either. ;)

We just sink em the lake out here.. digging is too much of a pain in the ass. ;).
Jesus Christ, this thread is not about Brian, let's move in to the damn good thread we got going please.

I have used Tim for some detail stuff in the past and he even had his mechanic sshiw me some tricks how to get that impeller out.

I think he is a good shop for what he does

I think if you talk to him direct about it , he probably will clean ur boat up. About the storage, well lesson learned I guess
Or u might have talked to him already, not sure

Used him once and won't do it again. Completely unprofessional and doesn't meet his promised timeframes.

They decompose, they fill with gas, they float to the top.

...it all becomes a hassle

Priceless. :D. ^
Over the years many families have had closure when Parker annual water level drop event takes place.Always good pics of Keys just about dry.

I didn't talk to him directly. He was out of town when I went to the shop. I think I'll just find someone else to do it. Not too sure how friendly he's gunna be now that I blasted him on this thread

They don't lower the water that much anymore. It used to be cool to see the keys empty and just a stream going down the middle of the river.

I think you would be surprised.. No better outcome than a once unhappy customer returning as a happy customer.

I have used him for awhile- details, services, exhaust, engine swap. He has never done me wrong.
Though I have never used him for storage and dont know if he does details in house any longer.

If my boat was outside for that many days when storage paid I would be pissed off.

He doesn't detail in house? I thought that was the primary business? (at least it was a few years back?)

So. It's a long story and I want to get it out there so no one gets burned liked I did

I talked to Tim at dirty deeds detailing oct 8 2017. We had a conversation over the phone about me dropping off my boat and him putting it inclosed storage for the month. I arrived at his shop Sunday morning to drop it off and saw a few boats outside. I called him to double check that what we had agreed upon was inside storage and he confirmed to me that he would move it inside his storage when he returned on Sunday afternoon. I left the boat and $170.00 US dollars cash for him and left the boat there in good faith. I returned on Saturday oct 14 for the boat races and stopped by dirty deeds to find my boat outside. Rather than confronting him, giving him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he's putting inside every nite id just drive by Monday morning to see if it's still outside. Sure enough Monday morning came and the boat is I the exact spot I left the previous Sunday. I would've taken the boat home but I was in my wife's care and couldn't tow it. I returned Friday oct 20th and much to my Dismay the god damn boat was still in the same spot I left it. So I stopped by to pick it up and tim was out of town so I tried to call him. Iminage that, he wouldn't answer my call. But he somehow seemed to answer a call from his shop manager. I demanded a full refund which they provided but they burned me and I thought everyone should know about it Don't do business with dirty deeds detailing
I'm just curious, have you spoken to Tim since picking up your boat?

You're assumption that he was going to "burn you" was based upon the fact that the boat sat outside for 3 of the 4 agreed upon weeks and you assumed that if you hadn't noticed or said something he was just going to try to tell you it was inside storage the entire time. Is this correct? What would you feel if you let it go the entire month and when you picked it up Tim said something along the lines of "I'm we had a mix up with the storage facility and failed to communicate that with you. For compensation for our failure we performed a complete detail free of charge."

But since you never gave him that chance he wasn't able to make it right in that regard

This is all a "what if" from me. But you areflaming a guy based on an assumption that he was gonna rip you off.

He stated Tim wouldn't answer or was on vacation etc etc.
