I’m tired of seeing all the homo 4x4 golfcart threads.

Just picked up a 2023 KTM 450 XCF this weekend.

For the real men that still ride- Post a pic of your dirtbike! Where are you riding this weekend?

I hardly ever even get the bikes out of the garage these days. All my buds either got married, or got SxS's...

2002 KX500 in KX250 frame - my old desert bike, but also a absolute beast in the dunes
2008 CRF450x - new desert bike
2002 XR650r - plated dualsport / adv bike

I just have Grom I run around town on. I traded a harley for it and am now thinking of trading for something different, Kind of thinking of a DRZ400. So far I am on my 3rd trade for this one with no cash out yet.

OK, I have had this thing off road (on purpose) a few times. While I know I could not keep up with you, and definitely not beat you, I have done the dirt thing and totally prefer that over a glorified dune buggy.

sweet iron head man! My dad has a 70 that he bought from Swede Savage when he was a kid. He rebuilt it in his parents garage. He still has it and its about as clean as they come.

I have a 78 Shovel that i've had for 12 years or so.

Pretty sure I’m going back to a two stroke. I just sold my 450 four stroker. View attachment 1170827
I did that. Went from a 2008 Yz450F to a 2003 CR250R and made it street legal in a tasteful manner when I got to Az. The 2 strokes don't have the power or punch of the 450s but they are just a lot more fun to ride.

From a few years ago and not riding this weekend. But maybe the next if I take to glamis. But I do drive around town in az.

I added a headlight and tail light for street. Simple 10 watt led headlight does the job for street and have been able to ride at glamis to get back to camp in dark. Powered by 2 6 cell Nimh rc cart batteries wired in series attached to forks behind headlight.

My son just turned 10 and has a race this weekend at Cahuilla MX Track in Anza. I think he's doing ok for his age.

If I get off work early enough I may blitz him to Elsinore tomorrow to get some seat time in. I'm too fat and old to ride anymore, but I have a bike which I should own.

Is it just a headlight and tail light or did you do a full kit? If so which one?
Headlight and taillight is all you need in AZ. No turn signals needed. I used first generation triple clamps and headlight housing from a CRF250X. It bolts in. Used a Baja Designs headlight. Tail light is a kit from amazon. Put a brake switch on the rear master cylinder. Need a horn as well. Its an 03 and has a wound stator already but didn't know that prior to ordering a ricky stator. Hardest part was finding a new location for the CDI box. Was able to stretch it to an area above the engine.

All 2 wheelers are great. But.......there's nothing gay about golf carts.
Eventually not eating shit and steering sitting down becomes pretty sweet.

Moto is way cooler. No question. Father time never takes a vacation unfortunately

I’m not a bikes guy, but my father bought us all a Honda 250, 450 and a 650 because he used to ride. They’ve been like ridden twice in 10 years.

The 650 I’m pretty much afraid of, I wheelied it for like 50 yards once because it wouldn’t start and I finally got it to start and didn’t want it to conk out so I gave it some throttle. Luckily I didn’t kill myself.

We don’t have any riding gear (no armor or boots and I only have a full face helmet) and we don’t even know where to ride that’s experience/ability appropriate out in Havasu so it’s just not my thing. Not looking to get run over by all the SxS or sand cars either.

So when my dad is gone they’ll be up for sale on these classifieds. They’re on a three bike trailer. Maybe I should take some pics next time I’m out there of all of them.

Pic here is the 450. All these are serviced by Parker Yamaha I believe.
