Is Domestic diesel still the place to go? Looks like a have a power steering leak on my ‘17 Ford and since my extended warranty is over I don’t want to take to the dealer.

Or is there another shop that does good work closer to Fontana? Thanks.

I have had great service from “The Truck Shop” in Temecula off Black Deer Loop. @OldSchoolBoats also went to Yup/yupp Boys. I think they are near Menifee but haven’t been to them. Neither is super close to Fontana. Hard to find reliable shops that don’t try to make a retirement from you the first time you go there. 😂 good luck

Domestic is a good shop. They are knowledgeable and straight forward. But man it's not cheap. I about fell out my chair when inquiring about doing the head gaskets. Just for labor. So I did it myself. I understand the price now. Holy hell these modern diesels have so much packed in to such little space.

Buds is in orange county so far from fontana. United diesel in el Monte.

Best of luck to you.

I use to use the Commerical Ford Service Center on Cherry Ave and the 10 FWY. Not sure if they are still there but I was real happy with them back a few years ago.

I know it’s a Ford Facility but you may still want to get a quote from them.

Trenton at Mad Tech is who I would go to if looking for something close to Fontana.

When I lived in California Domestic Diesel is where I went. John and Rupert are good people. I dunno if Rupert is still there. Buds name got brought up and he was good the first few years. Then he got a loser of a manager that was drunk by 10am every day and just raping people on price.

Domestic diesel worked on my truck and reconnected my lift pump wrong - they hooked up the ground wire to the positive terminal, backfeeding the pump and the truck wouldn’t turn off. They fixed it but wouldn’t replace my burned out lift pump. After that I went to All Time in Glendora and had better luck with them. Diesel repair work is not cheap.

I’d recommend making the drive to Yup Boys in Menifee

I still use Domestic Diesel. Good people and for perspective, nothing is cheap anymore. I have always heard about Trent at MadTech but have never been there.

Trenton at Mad tech diesel workz in rancho. Robert doesn’t trust anyone else.

Trent is legit. Figured out a problem with my neighbors 7.3, when 3 other shops couldn't.

He's getting all my work from now on...

I feel like an askhole. But since feel I like shit being the 4th day sick, it’s easier logistic wise to take it to drop it off at dealer for this fix.

I will be hitting Mad Tech to do the fuel pump kit on the truck as I’m keep it and it will sit more now and don’t need that issue to happen now out of extended warranty.

Thank for all the suggestions.

A friend turned me on to Diesel Injection Service on the NW corner of Cherry & Arrow in Fontana. They've done a great job on my RAM so far. It's actually there now. Knowledgeable and fair prices.

Not close to Fontana but 805 Diesel in Camarillo must be good. They constantly have a ton of trucks waiting to be worked on and a decent size shop.
