Who are you using for roadside with you diesel pusher? I am hearing good things about Coach net.
I will not be using AAA ever again for RV

Interested who you find. AAA absolutely sucks these days. I still have the RV Premier plus but fixing to drop it.

They are way out of their league when it comes to RV's and waste an entire day doing nothing.

Oh yeah I have some stories about AAA and our gasser class A.

I have been reading on Facebook diesel pushers page and 90% of the responses have been for Coach net

I have Coachnet. Used them once for a blown tire.

I don’t have anything at the moment. I have triple A but I only use them for dmv services. Would rather not waste my time roadside with them.

I’ve seen a lot of people saying coach net. Wonder what the cost is? Are there different plans so to say?

Read this thread and just signed up for Coach.net, was going to add to my AAA but after reading here and a few other places not much good was said about them.

Not a fan of Good Sam camping deal but had their tow plan a while back. Used it twice and was fantastic 40 foot Country Coach towed 300 miles. Don’t know what the policy cost now, but was like 100 bucks as I recall. Included emergency lodging, meals, etc.

+1 for Good Sam. I sank a pusher at the dunes and they came out to pull it out for free. The driver told me the first 2hrs for 1 wrecker was free. After that we would have to call for a price. When he was done in under 2hrs, it was free. Said it would've been about $600 if I didn't have Good Sam

We paid for a 5 year plan with Coach Net when we purchased our coach. We have not needed to use it yet. I have read in many RV forums that Coachnet is the best for RVs

currently have AAA but I agree, they suck.

On my gasser, I was able to get the spare tire replaced after a blowout on the side of the road with the tools I had.... I was just airing it up when the driver called and said they were still an hour away.

I have AAA, they were always able to tow my truck and 5th wheel.
If I had a motorhome, I'd go with Coach net.

If any of you ballers ever need it put on a trailer, hit me up. Here’s a bus I brought to Phoenix from SLC. It was 12’6” tall, and 45’ long.

I have AAA and overall they have been good but over the last few years have changed some of their reimbursement for RV Tows. I generally like AAA for my insurenace and registration needs. In my experience it has been hit or miss if I am going to have a descent tow experiece. I have broke down 2 times when I had a 5th wheel and was able to get towed each time with no long waits or no issues.

I have broken down 2 times in my motorhome and it was an absolute PIA to find a tow each time and I was stranded on the side of the road for several hours. The only saving grace has been getting reimbured each time.

Moving forward I think I am going to look into Coachnet as well.

AAA sucks for all RV’s, Camper Trailers and ToyHaulers.

Broke down on Rice and I10 once. Called AAA (had premier RV service). They quoted me 8hr until 2 trucks could show.

Called Good Sam and was told 2. Driver shows (I truck able to handle both truck and trailer) and tells me he got both calls. GS pays better so he took that over the AAA request.

Moved AAA back to basic service (DMV services plus basic stuff if my wife breaks while I am away). Buddys with super C’s use coach net.

Curious as to what something like that costs. Is it by the mile? Hook and drop fee?
$475 an hour!

My brother in law was out in BFE middle of CA.... they charge per hour, from the minute they leave their yard

40' RV, it was $2,200 for 5 hours

HUh, ok
last tow with my gasser was from Glamis beach store to my house. Call it 220 miles and it was $3400(?3900) with my AAA LOL
Sounds like I really got screwed!

I think they only towed him a total of 40-60 miles from where he was broke down. All the hours billed were getting to him, hooking up, the actual tow and then returning to their yard

That seems steep for sure. Typically a good day rate for standard dimensional stuff is like $1200. Once you get oversized like that it’ll go up exponentially . And they’ll require permits, possible pilot cars, etc.
