Any thoughts on this? I have a friend that sends me this stuff regularly

When you've completed studying the information presented on this link I've included, you'll fully understand the meaning of the "Celestial Sphere".

Here's another site with good explanations of the celestial sphere.

The apparently stoned presenter in this video you've linked, is forgetting that the earth is tilted on it's axis. That the stars and visible constellations do change with the seasons, just as they change depending on which hemisphere you're observing from. In addition, the sun's relative size is much smaller due to it's distance from the earth than his example and our view of the stars is a Celestial Sphere, not a flat plane.

"At different times of the year we can see different constellations due to the rotation of the earth and the tilt of our axis and so some are seasonal. Some stars appear throughout the year from our position and they are called circumpolar."

As you can see with the following image, what stars you see and when is dependent upon the season, and mostly where they are seen depends on your viewing location.

Circumpolar Stars.jpg

Here's a video that might help ---- Odd isn't it, that with so much fascinating information available, we tend to be drawn to and more intrigued by the absolutely ridiculous, and then in order to assist with the propagation of illiteracy, we forward it to our friends.

It would seem you misunderstood the context of the comment I made and you chose to quote. 😁
The subject of the conversation was in regards to innumerable failed attempts to reach and provide education intervention to a delusional peer member 🤦‍♂️, not the general subject matter of this thread. 🥴

I basically knew what you meant. Found it humorous though. 😁

still waiting for the first EVER picture of earth taken from the moon... you'd think out of 300k pics taken, there'd be "ONE" with the actual size of earth in comparison with the size of the moon...

oh well.... Ai should be cleaning up this mess for everyone and will deliver this "PROPER" IMAGE to put it to BED...

Carry on.... I enjoy the SHOW!!

PS... Happy Friday!!

Exactly. It doesn't exist. Plenty of "Images" exist though. We can't go back though! No way. Tech doesn't exist! Would cost too much!

Simple internet search asking why we can't go back to the moon comes in second only to time travel!!! Hahahaha!
