Did Howard make a 22'?

Forgive me for getting onto a foreign subject like boating, but I am looking at a boat this week that the owner claims is a Howard 22' Cruiser.

I dont know of any 22' cruiser made by howard, but I do know they made a 22' offshore.

That is what I thought. I was just checking on the off chance that Howard had a 22' like Spectra had just a slightly bigger cruiser - which are a little more rare.

I'm looking at a couple different boats. I'm also looking for the tunnel campbell I briefly owned a couple years back. That boat was a major project, but what a piece of nostalgia! But, this Howard has potential.

What year old Howard cruiser you gonna look at? I found a '78 Howard 24'6" that Howard called a 'Citation'. Pretty much the Spectra 24XS with a little different flair on the deck at the stern. Talked to Gene at Howard who thought that Howard Brown only made a handful. If you get it, we'll have a run at Elsinore.

It is an 81, and the owner confirmed it measures just under 21'. Not a done dealio yet.

You don't know where that tunnel campbell I had briefly owned ended up? I talked to the guy that bought it off of Mouzer one time. I need to look up the CF #'s and see if I can trace it down that way. That is the only boat I have kicked myself for selling.

No that is not Garry Buesy. It is in fact my uncle after staying up all night gambling and drinking with me in Laughlin:beer getting old sucks dude. We started calling him Bernie He has no recollection of the Howard Regatta. Good times
