Thanks Tim. Sorry we missed the cookout. Coordinating two houses full of people was a ton of fun this weekend. Pretty sure we didn’t make it anywhere on time. We did take advantage of the parking. Pulled in just as a RDP’r was leaving.

Not good, but at least not, "Is that a rod knock?" kind of deal. Down for a planned weekend is always preferable to down for the season

On the bright side I’m gonna have a lot of new parts on the boat, I kinda get why so many boats are for sale with fresh rebuilds. Took me awhile, but i get it. I am glad the shop did a thorough inspection and caught it. Would have been easy to crank it out and cash the check.

No doubt. We have the whole season in front of us. A coworker was supposed to run in DS until he lost a piston or two Wed. It’s at So Cal Marine for awhile. One of the guys we hung out with this weekend lost a piston on his yesterday. Six hours on a fresh rebuild. He was way calmer than i would have been. Yikes.
