Older build. Hacker hot rods in Vegas built it.

Sure does!!

We do pretty OK!! 😉 But I admittedly have gotten lucky with a couple skills I learned on the side. Very grateful for what I’ve got.

Oh. And her name is either Blackie, or Lucille (Clapton and BB Kings guitars…)
I don't know why I cannot get Radar Love out of my head looking at that thing.I felt the same way about your boat.😄

Question for a friend. Is it illegal to steal or possess state property such as a speed limit sign? just wondering in case I get caught. 😂

My whole life I always wanted a 1969 Roadrunner. Today, she’s home.

Didn’t initially want one this radical, but for what I paid for it on Bring a Trailer, I couldn’t pass her up.

440 w/BDS blower and dual FAST EFI carbs (~850hp)
727 TF full manual
Mini tubbed
Lots of other crazy custom shit.

GF on her way over to break ‘er in. 🥰

As an aside… I got linked up with PlyCar for shipping from @Jefftowz and they were incredible. Little hiccup with the car on initial pick up day and they just stuck me on the next run from Washington state. Super professional.

I will eventually get a 69 charger again that I hope is as nice as this similar car you got.

Well I’ll be in town first thing in the morning. Pick me up on the north side and I’ll buy breakfast. 😁

Old Mopars are cool!

"Retired" signs are so cool. Years ago I asked our public works department if I could have a few signs for wall art and they told me they would set some beside the metal recycling trash dumpster for me. After two weeks I had to ask them to stop. I had no idea how many signs are damaged or replaced daily. I had 100+ signs in two weeks. Old faded signs are ok but to me the cool ones are the damaged / graffiti signs.

I’ve got dibs on one of the giant welcome to California signs that’s due for replacement soon. It’s got stickers and bullet holes galore all over it. Hehe

You better have a good connect and be there with a truck/trailer. That one is going to be a grail sign. I have snagged a few welcome signs, city flags, and street signs with the significant hundred blocks which others wanted by being at the right place at the right time and a few lunches for the entire crews.

Nice car but I’m not that blown 440 is in CARB compliance?!?

Also, make sure you obey all traffic laws!

Did you start the BaT thread or did you find this because of that threat?
I found my Shelby because of that thread and I don't remember who to blame/thank.

I didn’t start that thread, but that thread made me start looking at BaT a lot more, for sure!

I hate to say it, but I think GRADS started that one… thanks GRADS!!

Beautiful hotrod dude, I hope it exceeds your expectations and fulfills your hotrod dreams. Think you'll ever take it to the track and see what it runs in the 1/4mi. or just enjoy it as a nice street rod?

Damn, let me know where to grab some. I have the back wall of my RV garage that I was going to do a mural on but it's just too much real estate.

I have an old blasting sign on my on wall I got from a buddy who has a dynamite/blasting company, and when I asked about how the sign got bent up, all he responded with was "yeah we didn't double check our math that day!!"

Thanks!

I’m really not sure. These mopar B bodies are giant heavy bastards and even with 850 horse, it’s not going to be all that fast on the track. Couple hard launches here and there for fun, but I’d un-alive myself if I crashed it at the track. She will be mostly a cruiser.

But in her former life, she was a full cage bracket car.
