The fast food minimum wage hike and shrinkflation bs has hit the consumer (me) hard on this one. Del shrank the size of the cheap 🌮s. 🤯

Ouch Del Taco has always been one of the best if not the best deal in fast food.

That said, a lot of fast food companies are coming back out with their cheap meal deals. The declining sales are starting to take their toll.

I like the three full size for $8.
The three for $3 are the small street snack tacos.

I went in to one the other day just for a Diet Coke and it was $3 and some change. I think I walked out. I'm not paying that much for a soda. Gas stations can be way cheaper for many reasons but one of them is because they don't have to pay fast food wages. CA policy screwing the consumer one more time.

Shrinkflation is crazy, I think Toblerone were the first to ever do it, but that was a decade ago. Fast food are definitely shrinking everything, cup sizes were the first thing I noticed.

Wife and I order some fu-fu shrimp taco's at the Mirage "adult" pool 2 or 3 yrs ago, like $35-40. We got 3 tacos with one shrimp in each one on a shell the size of a Tostitos corn chip.
Quite literally the size of my thumb.
Beyond ridiculous 🙄

How you guys can consciously poison yourselves w/ that shit is beyond me?
Reap what you sow comes to mind.
Del has the real chedder cheese, it makes all the difference in the tacos and quesadillas.🖕😁 The shell does look suspect. I am looking forward to when RFK takes over the FDA and fake food will be banned.

I thought a small taco was what we all wanted.

Del does not have a tight taco on the menu.

That’s the mini taco
Value taco, snack menu taco, whatever they are calling it this week it got smaller and the price didn't.
I might have AI write a strongly worded email to the company.

Philly's Best where we eat at a lot had a large soda at $3.50 a year ago which I thought was outrageous knowing fountain sodas have the biggest profit margin of anything in a restaurant. Last week it was $4.20. My fam is at $80 with a $5 tip on take-out for 4 cheesesteaks and 2 onion rings with no drinks.
Trying to keep the big ticket items the same is forcing them all to mark up all the sides and drinks that people don't notice as much.

You tell yourself whatever you need to bud.
You do know our food is BANNED in 20 countries right? It's the common denominator to all the new illnesses and related drugs produced by the chemical/pharmaceutical Co's.

As others have said @Deckin Around , you got the value sized taco. What you expected was probably The Del Taco. Still comes bigger and better than any other fast food chain taco. The Del Taco is still reasonably priced, but the Del Beef Burrito/Combo burritos are half their previous size and now cost about $7.00 with extra cheese. I lost 50 lbs in a year after retiring. I was starting my work day off, every day, with Del Taco. Pizza buffet at lunch probably didn't help either.

The sarcasm was lost. That's exactly why I said I'd be happy if RFK banned fake foods. Go start a health food thread so I can piss on it.

I AM talking about the value taco!! That's why I said "the cheap tacos" in the op. It shrunk. The del taco is the bigger one with tomatoes, I am very taco educated.

WTH, that just sux.

I love the full size "Dell Taco" but it's a rare treat since it puts my acid reflux on kill. Literally.

For me and after years of suffrage, nothing works better than gravity. I sleep with my head slightly elevated and it has worked wonders. the dumbass doctors never told me to do that though! But yes, I'm on daily meds too.

Our bed will litterally put you in more positions than a Kama sutra manual. I raise the head up as well , since I started on that med I began occasionally getting "baloney burps" in the middle of the nite , I keep a glass of water and Alka Selser to put the fire out . Tadalifil relaxes the muscle at the top of the stomach ............... 🤮

When they killed the Spicy jack chicken quesadilla it ruined it for me. I wonder if Barstow still has them?
Get the regular quesadilla and ask for a side of green sauce! Dip quesadilla in warm green sauce and enjoy. You can thank me later.

Are you 7’6” ? 😳

😁No, I have midget hands and the the tacos are just that fuckin small now.
I could probably fit 6 of those things in 1 Barstow taco.
I don’t know if there is any other non-corporate Del location that is private owned like the family of the Barstow location. I googled it, but didn’t find anything.

Yeah, I'm well aware vegas isnt cheap but I'm not accustomed to paying $10+ on a Tostito chip with a lone shrimp in it. Even my wife was agast.
