Danny....all I can say is wow....definitely a boat that makes me want another go fast boat.....very well done. Amazing colors, trailor, rigging, and it is gonna lay down all kinds of whoop ass on the Schiada's along the Parker strip....pound for pound it will take a smaller Rayson or something else to beat it...

You need to just sit outside Foxes next Schiada regatta with a sign TAKERS? :)

Thanks Mike. It is going to take some dial in time, but it should run pretty good when it is done. :D Right now I am going to keep the motor on pump gas so it will be putting out right at 1100. If I ever decide to put it on race gas... :skull

Why would you lengthen the inside strakes? Just make the cav plates an inch longer if you need more transom lift..

RD

Doesn't work that way, makes the inside strakes shorter. On my DiMarco 21 I am lengthening them all the way to the transom, flat plate between the stakes and conventional from there. 2 outboard rudders @ the inside strakes. Hope it works with 2000+ hp, we will see.

Danny FWIW that boat makes my heart skip a beat, it is just stunning.
If I could ever afford something that nice, you'd be the man I would come see.
A work of art.

I believe that would have the opposite effect. By lengthening the plates, you would actually be shortening the strakes in comparison to the running surface of the boat. I don't think that lengthening the plates would cause more transom lift. The right or wrong prop will also have alot to do with tail lift though. With that said I could be completely wrong:D.

Well it makes sense in my pee brain, but I've been known to be wrong before..

C'mon now.. LOL

WTF are you putting in the boat that makes 2K? When will we see the build thread on extending the strakes?

Not to discourage you, but I could see extending the strakes on an I/O boat, but I wouldn't bother doing it on a v-drive.. I'd dial it in with various length cav plates & adjustments to them personally.. I'm not V-Drive guru though (seriously) so there's a lot better guys out there to ask then me. (not that you asked come to think of it.. LOL)

Just got these sent to my cell phone from the interior guy. So far, I really like what I see. I am heading out there tomorrow, on my way out of town, so I should have some better pictures when I get back on Monday.

Very nice, Couldn't tell from the pictures, what kind of steering does the boat have?

WPM Full Hydraulic

Are they still in business? Tried to track them down for a friend looking for a single ram external, but could get any information. Is their shop in Corona still open?

I don't know what is going on with them. I havent talked to Tom in about 8 months. I do know that they got rid of their shop in Corona. Not sure what is happening now.

Just wanted to share some more photos of the seats and the upholstery. Let me know if there are any questions I may be able to answer for anyone.
Thanks,
Mike @ Prime Marine

Looks bitchen. I think the only thing I would have done is gone all white on the seats. And kept the logo in color.

Damn, what a fine piece of boat. I think this just gave me the inspiration to take the bench out of my schiada and just add 2 buckets so i can fit my blower motor.

Hind sight being 20/20 I woulda ditched the blue color and the logo's on the seats all together (says DCM in other parts of the boat already).

Overall though it came out sick! Danny has to be stoked. Prime did a sick job on it.

I agree.....

I'm weird about logos on something I paid for. All white seats would have matched better and I would have skipped the reversed logo panels in the rear (unless I'm tripping and there a reflection:))

I'm sure the gas tanks are in the way but cut in cup holders between the seats would have been nice and broken up the white panels.

Boat looks bad ass!!

Being that this is Danny's boat, I'm sure he built it the way he wanted it. This is DCM's first V Drive and I dont think Danny took any short cuts and Prime did a great job:thumbsup

The great thing about DCM is the word "CUSTOM" you guys could build your boat anyway you wanted.

LOOKS KILLER and I can't wait to go for a ride!!

I like the interior...only thing I am not fond of is the billet floors in back...would have rather had fiberglass, exposed balsa, exotic wood, just something more simple..

Amazing boat...when you going to run it?
