I could personally care less for what it’s worth. If I had that kind of money and Had a brand new boat built and the factory was like, can we take your new boat to LOTO and reveal It, run it a bit. Show it off. Etc. I’d be like, make it worth my while and do your thing. Many people enjoy helping the factories they built their boats with just out of being fans. Lots of people at that level know the factory will take care of their stuff and them. Not to mention, brand new never run hull design and boat?? Yes, please take it out and run up 10 hours on it and work out the kinks, thank you! Big picture, a few hours don’t mean shit.

The vast majority of the boats you see displayed at say, Miami boat show, are already sold before they even get to the show. It’s not weird at all. It’s pretty common.

Well that's practical LOL I can see it on a race boat but a pleasure boat no way. What do you do if a storm pops up sit there and get wet. Sorry I'm just thinking out loud here

Well, since this isn’t your style, I would suggest purchasing something else.

JFC the hate and stupidity runs DEEP in this thread!!!

Another badass ride out of the DCB camp. If #1 is this good, I can’t wait to see those that follow it.

To the rest, if you don’t have something positive to say, or something constructive to ask, shut your cock holster!

Not sure if you have a choice in the matter when you buy a new dcb, but if I just dropped $700k on a boat I’m not sure I would want it delivered to me with a bunch of hours on it and after 30 demo rides were given in it.
Maybe that’s just the advertised price and a hefty discount was given for his troubles.

I agree with this...Its never a bad thing to have someone or in this case multiple very skilled/knowledgeable drivers take a boat like this out and give the new owner some input on what they thought. I have learned a lot about my driving and my boats from letting a driver i know is more skilled then me go and leg it for a couple passes.

Well it wasn't built for that. Like a Ferrari isn't built to take the kids on vacation.
They just posted starting @ $489k with 450's

Looks like it's the MTI's that are $700 and the DCB is a good bit less. I also imagine that all the demo rides and such were agreed to before final pricing and all was completed.

Someone wants a cabin, plop down a deposit and I’m sure DCB will make it happen. Custom made boats means you pay enough money you can have what ever the fuck you want. Someone said no inboards. Im sure you show up with enough coin they’ll make that happen too. Might have to completely redesign the deck and build a new mold but fuck it, you pay for it, you can have it!

Our M37r started into production this Monday, and I can tell you it isn't $700k. We are working with DCB to put a bed in ours ahead of the cockpit bulkhead with an access to the bed from the cockpit as well. The team at DCB is pretty confident we will be able to pull that off and I believe we will too, there is a bunch of room in the interior of the 37r. The boat is deep and has ample room to move around, a huge improvement over our F32. The transom with the steps is going to be amazing for lounging out and enjoying a full day on the lake, my wife and I truly feel that this boat checks all of the boxes we want for comfort and my desire for speed and handling.

I'm extremely pleased with all of the performance reports I've seen so far from Kris' boat and I know it will only get better with time. We are really looking forward to receiving ours and getting some time on it!

No cabin is high on my list. I’m tired of my kids throwing everything they can possibly carry in our old 32. Your not going to want a whole ton of weight up there anyway. As nick says these check a lot of our boxes for our small family as well.

These are from Jeff so I’m sure “professional pics” will be taken later but DAYUM. They knocked this focker out the park. In and out.

Holy Fuck! I wasn't a huge of fan of this boat because I don't like whackers but that interior is insanely stunning. I showed my wife and she said wow talk about keeping up with the times...I told her they are creating the times.

Oh yeah I did 30 years ago,it's a cat and we sleep on it and it's 1 of 6 boats I own, I've been at this boating thing for a long time but I'm not saying this is not a nice boat just saying it's not what I would expect from a 37 footer, I guess the Quest for Speed has its disadvantages, not hating it at all, I figured they could do it if it was wanted

The reason that you generally don’t see cabins in true tunnel performance catamarans is because the tunnel depth takes the space of a much shallower tunnel of a center pod design. Also, most true tunnel cats are built for offshore performance and are reinforced with bulkheads throughout the hull.

This isn’t that kinda boat stingray.. lol. None of these Ob cats have a cabin. The goal is performance performance performance..

Yeah well that's what I'm asking I mean a 37 ft boat shouldn't it have a cabin? I mean without one this is just a toy for cruising around what a waste.IMO

Owens and Sons. I would venture to say a lot of the trailers that dunk in the salt have something similar.

Edit - I just looked it up, you can order your trailer with the flushing system.
Owens and Sons is an all I Beam trailer right? The flushing systems I’ve seen are just for getting the saltwater out of drum brakes (which don’t have any purpose on a boat trailer IMO anyway)

I can think of 1-3 other drivers as talented as Tony. He’ll know exactly what’s right and wrong as soon as he drives it. Nobody better at setup - I’d love to have enough to buy one and have him be the first to put on WOT

If I ordered a boat would I want to be the first to let her eat of course. But the fact that dcb is trying to show case this boat I’m sure they will right any wrong th owner sees. And why would anyone be against them sayin well this tune it does this or that? Or this prop works for this and this prop works for that? Rather then spending the Colin and figuring it out on your own? Im sure tony will make it look like no one was ever in it when it’s delivered!

Gonna jump in for a second ... I had my triple axle trailer installed with a flush kit as I am a salt only user.... it basically through fresh water through the wheels and brakes and might have saved the brakes etc on that tube trailer a bit longer.

Sorry Dave you didn't mention in the rules that inmates aren't allowed to have an opinion

Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk

I think your taking it wrong. He’s not saying you can’t have an opinion, he’s sharing facts that high performance cats built for a speed don’t have forward cabins / berths due to weight. It is what it is. Build one and you can equip it to your tastes!

For the record - if I was building an M37R, the only thing I’d equip it with under the deck is a lightweight mattress and a disco ball 😁

My livestream must be delayed. I have not seen it.

Just saw the replay 👍🏼

The Victory, Fountain and MTI are giving it some competition.
