So I hear the new orange/black 35 DCB with 1100s has sold. My understanding is the new owner took possession last week. I don't think he has run it yet but in talking to people close to him I was told that boat had a light layup and is expected to run close the speeds of the 1350 rigged boats

I look forward to seeing it on the water!

Yes, it was sold. The boat runs really good with the 1100/no. 6 package. An honest 160 mph boat. The new lay ups are all lighter and stiffer than they were several years ago. Don't think there was anything special about this layup. Beautiful and solid boat!

I wonder why the owner went from an M-series to an F-32? .

I'm not sure I understand your question but - he went from the F32 to the M35 not the other way around - as I think you are asking ???

I think those motors also were worked up - I think it started as 700s then he added bigger blowers and bumped the HP up a bunch . I think those are putting out much more then 700.

I figured it was probably that boat when I saw 700s. It's a sweet looking F32, with timeless colors & has been listed for a long time. I wonder why the owner went from an M-series to an F-32? Anyways, it's none of my business. Are there times when you miss your F-32? That was a very nice boat.

He went from the F32 to the M35.

I do miss the F32 as it was my first ultra high performance boat I had. It's a great design and handling boat at almost all speeds. The modernized Teague 1,200's ran awesome in it as well. The orange boat was always my favorite and when the opportunity to own it came about I jumped on it. Heading to Mercury Racing this week to see the progress on the refresh of my engines. Should be interesting. I mean, who wouldn't want to go the Wisconsin in December?:eek

Milk, are you the guy who lives in the Phoenix area, guy who came up to me at Monster Bash who wants a 27' speedster? You are friends with my friend Brian with the 46' Skater?

Copy, thought I might have met you, next time. I want a ride too. I always end up following his roost around in my little 27. I have followed Yolo's M35 DCB roost around a couple of times too with no free rides, but then again... I never asked...

Happy Holidays!

You're in luck. It's supposed to be in the upper 40's here all week. Unseasonably warm, that's for sure. We usually have snow on the ground and lakes beginning to freeze. Not this year...

Ah, ok so his name is Bob. I could not remember his name for the life of me, but I do remember him telling me he had a 28 Daytona. Yep, Brian is the excavation/dirt guy who has the 46 skater and had the Nor Tech.

Thank you for posting.

Cheers,

Bo

You always have the best pictures of boats.

I remember that 'GunSlinger' 36 & it's tow rig. That was a super cool setup & I was able to see the boat at DS, many years ago. As far as theme boats go, it was one of the best I've seen. One of my favorite Nor-Techs, along with that 'Black & Gold' 36 & also the 43 'Danger Zone' boat.
