Anyone else ski behind their performance boat? I never really see it and don’t know why. I have had multiple v’s and tunnels and I have skied and tuned behind them all. However I will say a Manta Ray(flying tube) can go wrong fast)

We do it all the time with our 30 Eagle. Just did Catalina with it a week ago.

We just know the settings to keep the drive from hosing the skier down to a minimum, as it can kick up quite a roost otherwise.

We’ve had an M29 w 565’s and a M31 with 860’s, maybe wakeboard but I would need to be 20 and air supply to slalom.

That is called just hang on. Most cats with twins feel decent above 60 mph. They really like 75 and above!

That is pretty interesting! I can't even imagine how long you'd be tucked while the boat was getting out of the hole. Every tunnel I see take off, the bow is to the moon, lots of RPM and a long time to roll over. I'd like to see the hole-shot getting this skier up.

Guy I bought my f26 from was pulling tubes with it. Twin 300x outboards with 23p props. I never tried those props, but have had some 26's on it and it got going pretty good. Rope hooks I left on it.

Life long buddy has done it behind several M29’s, I’ve done it several times behind a Mach26. If you got your technique down, you’ll climb out behind anything, but it really helps if driver is a skier also

Our Skater had a factory mounted ski pilon. The guy who ordered the boat thought he was going to use it to tow his kid. He ended up selling the boat to us 6 months later when he discovered it was a horrible tow boat. I always thought it would have been cool to tow someone out in the ocean but it never happened.

My profile pic shows a picture of the pilon.

Doesn’t happen real quick. I think I have the video of coming out of the water. I ski on a Maja long board and my wife and daughter and law use a regular ski. We use a 200’ line.
I think it’s another way to enjoy the boat. It sounds really great back there. I’m surprised more people don’t think about doing it.
I skied the length of Cumberland about 15 years ago behind a Daytona and I’m going to do it again in the next couple of weekends. I think this could be our east coast version of Catalina.
Everyone get out there and post some pics.

I want to ski behind our mach 26, but it's always my wife and I so I need to make a point to round up an observer and get back out there

We skied wakeboarded and tubed behind our Daytona all the time. It took a while to pull me up on a ski, just take a deep breath and hold on! 😂
