Man this came out awesome and cool to see some love on a Mach 26. Keep the photos comingPicked the boat up yesterday from KMG, and WOW it turned out great, they did such a good job Im super pleased with it, We went with paint instead of gel as the pink we wanted was not coming out the way I wanted, the pink and blue look so much better in person, now its time to drill the fresh back transom, thats the part that is scary for me, View attachment 1410104 View attachment 1410105 View attachment 1410106 View attachment 1410107 View attachment 1410108 View attachment 1410109 View attachment 1410110
I can’t see it because it kicks me out after 5 seconds don’t have instagram. I do see no wrist strap available. How do I order one? Is there a link you can share for a wrist strap on Amazon?I’ll do red but that’s why i started making them was red was only option. I’ve got probably 15-18 colors i can make them out of.
Do it. I tried driving my boat without the tabs to get on plane and it really sucks. You wont regret it.Did you have the tunnel tabs before this upgrade started? If so, what were the benefits you saw and the reason for them? I have the same boat with 300X motors and I am thinking of adding these purely for planing purposes. With the 30P 4 blade bravos it takes forever to get on plane.
Do you put them down all the way, and what brand and length are yours?Do it. I tried driving my boat without the tabs to get on plane and it really sucks. You wont regret it.
Yeah all the way down. Gets on plane quick. I’ll find out the brand and length next week.Do you put them down all the way, and what brand and length are yours?
Yes had them before just for planning, never have to use them while runningDid you have the tunnel tabs before this upgrade started? If so, what were the benefits you saw and the reason for them? That looks great! What parts did you have to make and what was already available? Obviously the in control you had. Who did the chrome?Ive been waiting for some parts to be finished at chroming and powder shop, Just finished building my own foot throttle DTS setup, made out of a few different pedal groups

The 2 main pedal assemblies I used were the N-Control and STR setup, ended cutting both up and marrying them together, I have a little chrome shop here in riverside that does it for meThat looks great! Im not sure if they did I know mine doesnt have it, hopefully I wont need to go back and do thatdid this 26 come from DCB with thru-hull water pick ups?.i know some did and some didnt for raising/surfacing the outboards to the moon. Not talking about transom P/U,these went thru bottom of boat
every setup is a little different, with 450s its gonna be ALOT of trial an error as your the first that i have heard of...with that said, those lowers/bullets are FAT with any V8 and the farther they go up the more efficient they get..thats were thru hull or transom mounted cooling pickup comes into play as lower P/Us run dry..pretty simple setup, just drilling thru bottom of boat is worrisome, then its just a flapper valve and plumbing to motorIm not sure if they did I know mine doesnt have it, hopefully I wont need to go back and do that
Ready to start on yours?
Gonna use the current m26 for one more season and see if I love it more. Then look for a twin outboard m26 in the future.Ready to start on yours?
I've been weighing all the parts I took off and weighing everything going on and its not a crazy difference yet, maybe 200lbs so far, I also moved the batterys up front under the dash to help a littleComing out awesome. Very interested to see how it performs and can’t imagine the increase in speed and overall performance. What are you doing to counteract the added weight to the rear in comparison to the 300’s, or will it not be noticeable change in CG?
